really shocking if u compare his result to one on cic web it is indeed 21 its a blunder by them,

Can you please point me to the CIC page where it is calculated as 21? I believe it is 20 based on his CLB level 8.

Sorry to hear your news. In my opinion they have calculated the points correctly. Your IELTS score corresponds to CLB Level 8. If you look at this link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-language.asp the point awarded for each category is 5. That means 4*5=20. Please correct me if I am wrong.
How did you arrive at 21 points?

L-6.5 - 4 Points
R-6.5 - 5 Points,
W-7 - 6 Points,
S-7 - 6 Points

Total 21 points.

guys need your honest answers...

1.., ielts test L-6.5,R-6.5,W-7,S-7 how much point should i get.CIO give me 20 points and as you all know my case rejected by 1 point.i was on 67 point.

2.. my NOC-1114,i joined in 03-aug-2008 present company.CIO give me 13 points for 5 years expereince.now today is 12 aug-14. is this i completed 6+ years expericence to claim 15 points in experience.thn my total will be 68....

only good thing is my noc-1114.till now have 5 application.may be 50 more under review in this noc.....
if i recollect all my docs and send new application again.it will cost me atleast 5,6 days to arrange.

whats your hope for points 1 and point 2.both are above mentioned.

Hi amit....Dont loose hopes. I mentioned my thoughts.

1. L-6.5,R-6.5,W-7,S-7 => Points as 4+5+6+6 = 21 - how CIC put wrong calculation or is there anything...dont know
2. May be your experience is less than 6 years at the time of your application reached. thats y they mentioned as 13 points. if u re-apply now then this will be 15 points

I'm 8th May applicant. Btw I'm one of the applicant who had ECA done for Bachelors degree only but not masters. I had attached letter of explanation explaining that I was not claiming points for Masters. Good Luck every one... Really happy. SS updated.
