Hi All,

With regard to proof of funds , I have 50% of the required money in my account and my husband has the remaining 50% money in his account. But he is the Principal Applicant.
While showing the proof of funds , is it ok if we submit the bank certification letter of my account together with the bank certification letter of my husband account. ?

Or should i need to transfer my money to my husband account , as he is the principal account & show that all the required money is in the Principal applicant account and produce that bank certification letter?

Am confused.. Pls advice.

One of my close relative, who is a Canadian Citizen ( has knowledge about FSW) told me that

1. Generic form -Dates in Current country of residence - from - to and the dates in Schedule A personal history should match
and
2. Generic form - The To Date in Current country of residence - should not be future date ( But it is not accepting in form)
3. If showing spouse account in settlement funds - no need of any affidavit - Is there any link that says funds can be in spouse account
4. Should not show more than $20K in funds for 2 applicants

How far it is true

plz suggest

No need to transfer the funds .... u can give a balance certificate of both the accounts.

I was just going through the FSW 2014 spreadsheet and I noticed something that I hope members can shed light on. There are several members on that spreadsheet who've been asked to do their medicals (these are the members who're on the top of the spreadsheet and are colored in a darker shade of blue). I've noticed that there has been considerable delay between the date some members have done their medicals (Column AG on the spreadsheet) and the date their medicals were received by the VO (Column AH on the spreadsheet). The delays range from a week to more than one month for a forum member.

My impression was that once a medical is done, all that needs to be done is the transmission of it by the designated medical practitioner to the VO. Any idea why there have been delays for some? (Answers by forum members who've done their medicals greatly appreciated)

Currently, CIO is working with 12th/13th May applicants for charging. Wait 2/3 months for your turn to come.

And pls get enlisted in the spreadsheet.

Thanks for the information bro. I think that they are moving too slow.

I've applied for nova scotia in the end of march and no answer from there too.

Best of luck ! :)

Dear friends

I was trying to check the status of application (9-may-2014) using old UCI number. Its showing in process, what thats mean because I paid my fee with DD and its not possible to get the status from bank.

For CNIC, I was unable to get his affadivit. He has signed the documents (certified that it is true translation), then it was notarised with notary public representative stamp.

For BC, these are copies of original Government of Pakistan BC (both in english & urdu)

Seniors, Am I missing anything?

Sdy,

It's not clear from your post if the BCs that you're sending is in a language other than English or French. If they're not, they need to be translated and, according to many posts that I've seen here, notarized. Even if the original BC's copies are not in English or French, THEY MUST BE SENT along with an notarized translations of them.

Good luck to you!

Thanks. This is extremely helpful. 2 Questions:

1. What do you mean by keeping CC inside a vault?
2. For CNIC, I have provided original copy along with translation which is notarised. I have not attached affidavit of the translator..

Seniors,
The checklist says:

Passport: Include only copies of the pages showing
Passport Number
Date of issue and expiry
The photo, name, date and place of birth
page showing any ammendments in name, date of birth, expiration etc.

All the above information is on the first page of the passport (I hold a Pakistani passport). Do I still need to add other pages as checklist specifically says include only the above information.

Thanks
