Dear Seniors,

Thanks to the Almighty that I have at last received my PER on 7-AUG-14 after so many mishaps by my agency.
Now I eagerly wanted to cancel the agreement with this agency.

Please advise me
1. Should I do this cancellation? Will there be any bad consequences that agency could do?
2. The processes of doing this as I only know my UCI?
3. Will there be any bad implication from CIC point of view?
4. In which step it should be better for cancellation?

Why do you want to Cancel ??

Regards,
Shahid

I filed my application on 11 May but has not heard from CIC. Should I contact (email or phone) them to find out the status of my application? I could not find an email address on the CIC website. Does anyone know an email to contact CIC? Thanks.

it's not like that..CIC works in their fashion. You are certainly IN the race.

Kindly let us know your mode of payment of the fees? CC or DD

Check your credit card statement to see if you were charged or check with your bank to see if your DD was encashed. Alternatively, wait for your PER by email in about 6 weeks from now. Cheers.

The danger is that a letter that attempts to qualify for 2 different NOCs may be interpreted by CIC as not qualifying for either, because the minimum requirement is one year full time in your primary NOC. If you are only doing half time in one NOC and half time in the other that's not full time.

It would be far better to have one letter from one employer for one NOC and a different letter from a different employer for the other NOC.

But the problem is it is exactly the same employer. There is no other employer. I have been working in this job for 2 years now and I have the same duties a Purchasing manager and a Property administrator have in a daily basis. How am I supposed to separate one from the other or get another employer to sign if they are one and the same? I mean, what I was imagining was that CIC would open one of the applications and figure "Hey this guys does a lot more than a Purchasing manager does" and the same would apply for the other application. Is that a problem?

My wife is the main applicant
While am filling form Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] . i have to fill current occupation :
the problem that my wife is currently not working and she is accompanying me at this time where am working at kuwait.

so can i fill it as N/A or Acompanying spouse

Thanks

Why don't you get two separate letters from your employer with each detailing duties pertaining to only one NOC. Ask him that you need to apply for two different positions.

Housewife and Homemaker are two other options to write in such a situation.

I appreciate the reply but doesn't that sound wrong? I mean, if anyone compares the 2 applications, they will ask why does the same employee say I my duty is to do something in one letter and in the other letter something completely different. I don't know, for some reason it sounds wrong... really would like more feedback on the matter.
