I noticed that my ecas status was updated on 1st august 2014 to "Decision Made" but VISA office hasn't requested my passport yet! Is it normal? And usually how long does it take Visa Office to request passport/convey the decision?

My Timeline:
Application received: May, 02, 2014
Fee charged: May, 27, 2014
PERM Received: June, 04, 2014
Medical & RPRF request: July, 07, 2014
RPRF fee submitted (with PCC): July, 15, 2014
Medicals done: July, 17, 2014
Medicals received: July, 24, 2014
ECAS Status changed to Decision Made: August, 1, 2014

Visa office - CPC Ottawa
Current Citizenship - India
Place of residence - USA

Hello Ananjay, if your affidavit as proof of birth does not contain your parents name what then can you do ?

I didn't get you...why parents name can't be there???? Nyhow whatever the reason is a self declaration affidavit will also work but if affidavit is from parents side it will be more authentic.

I received the much awaited PER mail on thursday but on checking the application status, its still showing "no identity found".
Is anyone else facing the same issue??
I am not sure what to judge from the message... ???

I have seen lots of cases on last year ...

It will be updated most probably on coming week...

So keep calm and relax.... 8) 8)

I am getting ready with the package to be sent next week.

1. How many pay stubs to be included as I have almost 9 years of experience and I have 95% of all my monthly pay stub copies?.
I think I may irritate the CIO officer to include all my pay stubs ?

2. what should be mentioned in "To" date of employement with respect to my current employer.
Should I leave it blank or write the application send date ?

You don't need to include any pay stubs.

Print the form and then hand write "present."

vishal let me correct ur statement.THERE IS NO NATIONAL LANGUAGE IN INDIA HINDI AND ENGLISH ARE ONLY COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE OF CENTRAL GOVT. U NEED TO WRITE in your MOTHER TONGUE using SAME SCRIPT....ACCORDING TO INDIAN CONSTITUTION THERE IS NO NATIONAL LANGUAGE BUT ONLY OFFICIAL LANGUAGE LIKE ASSAMESE.BENGALI.URDU PUNJABI.ORIYA.TAMIL.KANNADA.TELUGU.GUJRATI.MARATHI.HINDI.ENGLISH etc. Just clarification

i have got per mail on 7th august 8) 8) 8) but they have shown my address incorrect
(email is okay but incorrect correspondence address)

1) Are they going to send me any communication via physical mail after PER???
2) How will I update my correspondence address??
3) How soon I can hear for the next step from cic/local vo and what's the next step?
