Dear Senior Members,

I got the PER mail from CIC on 18 June. When I check my status online, it says "We have received your PR application on May 5".

I have not received any notification mail from New Delhi Visa Office.

Also, should I send my PCC to New Delhi Visa Office OR should I wait for them to ask for PCC ?

Please reply.

Query:

I've been working as a full-time in-house translator for 8 consecutive months since January this year and worked as a freelance (part-time) translator for several translation agencies at the same time from December 2012 to December 2013. Basically, up to now I haven' got the required one-year full time experience and meanwhile my part-time experience does not add up to 1560 hours, however I'm sure my part-time work experience is equivalent to 4 month of full-time work experience.

Does my work experience make me eligible for the skilled worker program?

Basically, will my 8-month full time experience and nearly one-year part time experience (equivalent to nearly 6-month full time) be considered as "one-year" work experience by CIC?

Many thanks!
The minimum requirement for the FSWP is to have at least one year of continuous full time experience within single occupation. Moreover, it seems you are self-employed and you will have to gather a lot of supporting documents from your clients and contractors describing your service in detail as self-affidavits are not accepted.

Check this out: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

There are instructions on how to fill the IMM0008 form:
If you chose “ Economic” in question 1, select one of the following:
- Skilled worker
- Skilled trades
- Investor
- Entrepreneur
- Self-employed
- etc.

Different categories.

No wait...when your local visa office request you to send....

This is the most logical explanation. An international bank cannot say suddenly won't respect liability without making any arrangement.

I would suggest contact JP Morgan Canada directly on this at https://www.jpmorgan.com/pages/jpmorgan/private_banking/contactus?refid=jpmContactUs

Hello, as I come from a bank, I must tell you that they can not close any nostro account till the time any outstanding liability on the bank's account has been either cleared or expired. Even if expired, there is an alternate route mechanism i.e. for all drafst payable on JPM Chase Canada will then be automatically honored by some other bank.

Or else, since Canada is not a small country, JPM Chase will definately have a global nostro account in the respective currency which will help them clear all outstandings on that draft.

Anycase, nothing to worry for you mate who has got the DD drawn on JPM Chase canada.

Cheers!

LOL! Now i get why you are laughing. I dint mean this spreadsheet but the one which is shared by the Immigration office, it is on the CIC website. I know they take ages to update but atleast it is information straight from the source. You can find it on CanadaVisa.com under total number of federal skilled worker applications received by CIC. Now do you get it? Based on statistics from all you good people, how soon do you receive the email? 1.5 months or 2 months? Thanks lots though...

you make me laugh like anything.

First thing the spreadsheet is not from canadavisa office.

Its only we the user like me & you who are managing.

Secondly, as of now the last processed date is 12th May only.
There are total 2 noc 0311 application in spreadsheet what i can see. And both are waiting for their file to be processed.

Yours is 13th June you have to wait for around 1.5 to 2 months for your CC/DD encashment.

guys,

how do you know which VO the file was transferred to? my PER mail said the final decision will be taken by a visa office without mentioning that it will be transferred or which VO.

in my application I have chosen Beirut VO but unfortunately I have not seen any one of you who would have experience regarding this office.

can you direct me regarding the next step that I should take?

thnaks

Please send me the link for updating my profile...if it will be help to anyone...

Hey guys. Feeling very anxious ::), should i have hopes and wait or give up? I sent my application under NOC 0311, Healthcare manager category and it was received by one David on the 13th of June 2014. When i check the spreadsheet from the Canadavisa office, i can see one application was received under the same NOC around the same time. Being selfish and hoping its mine :P ;D. does this mean anything? I have not heard anything from them. Since i made payments through a Bank draft and my bank cannot share information on whether it was cashed or not i am desperate and need to get information. please heeeelllllppppp!!! Is there a way i can confirm if i am successful or not this early? Should i just pray and wait? ??? :-\ :-\ :-\ I believe it will be 2 months ON August 13th..

What do you mean by "Canadavisa office" ? We have a google spreadsheet created by all of us in this forum and it is not an official report from CIC, more importantly each record has a name (user name) of a member here, if you did not submit the info then it is definitely NOT yours.

Moreover, CIC is now working on the second week of May, yours was received by June 13rd so I think you are better to enjoy your time for next couple of months :D.

Thats what i told you above.

As of now 7th May applicants getting PER in email and file processing (CC/DD encashment) for 12th May applicant is going on.

As you are 12/13 june applicant, you can expect an email having PER from CIO within next 1.5-2 months.

Ok...to avoid confusion, if you want to refer to an official source, aka CIC site, you should use this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp. The information you see in CanadaVisa.com is actual copied from the link I gave you. It is possessed by David Cohen just like this forum :). When you refer to spreadsheet, people (like me) understand that you are referring to the Google spreadsheet which is managed by our seniors here.

Guys,

Apologize for this request.

Can anyone check the spreadsheet and give an estimate when NOC 2171 would get filled this year?

I am in office right now and am unable to access the spreadsheet. Tried opening it in my phone but couldn't.

Apologies and thanks in advance,
Rohan.

Next step is to wait for what your VO Beirut ask for. This is same for all after getting PER. And fewer the numbers of applications in an VO, speeder the processing should be. ;D ;D ;D

Good luck.

OOH, Now i get you. Thought it was information from the visa office. Anyway, do we have to wait for 2 months from the date application was received or from the date that they start working on your file?
