but just now i tried a payment on a site with 2 in expiry box, shown an error " please add 0 or a number before 2".

so my doubt here is, will cic guys add tht "0" before 2 or they will just ignore and try with only 2? coz as i was signed the form and they dont have any right to change the card details and try for the payment.

am worried totally

Don't worry kris, this is default format of that PDF form, if you try to insert '02' and hit TAB or go to next field it will make it '2' automatically.
They know it and it will be considered as Feb. All the Best.

But Havent received any response yet from them and HDFC people here are horrible. trying to trace the status from past 2 weeks .. no one able to trace.. or i think the dont wanna work..

Really worried about my application.... with UCI number also i cannot see any status..

that is why I was panicking because you are one of two who has updates on ECAS, our application was received at the same time and date ??? I hope my ECAS gets updated as well. Congrats by the way!

Can we check status on ECAS without UCI and per?

Please see the below link and check options under identification type. You won't be able to check status without UCI.

Now Question is, for new application should I use that file number in UCI field and write Not Appicable.

Absolutely no! File number is case-specific, while UCI (8 digits) is issued for life.

Hi all
I have query about my status checking in ecas I am May 9th applicant DD payment

1. Will UCI number changes for every year when I called to Cic they gave me client id of 8 digits
2. How can I check my status where I tried to check it was saying that we cannot recognise you
What does it mean
3. Where we have to use "-" after 4 digits while checking in ecas?

1.The UCI number does not change. I have worked in Canada before. My UCI number is still the same today which was there 7 years before.
2.You can check status using the link below.
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do#formErrors
We can't recognize you simply means that your ECAS status is not updated yet and they may not have started working on your application or it may be in the process depending upon whether payment has been charged already or not.
3. Yes. You have to use "-" after 4 digits. But it works without "-" as well. I have tried both ways and am able to get my status.

Try calling the Bank in Canada directly for an update. That's what I did! The bank details will be on the DD. Mine was SBI bank.
