Hi All,

I am enquiring about the application I sent to CIC for FSW program. Following is the detailed information:

NOC code: 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
Demand Draft Date: 2nd may 2014
Application Despatched : 6th may 2014
Application received by CIO: 12th may 2014

My point of concern is that it is about to be 3 months that I haven't heard from CIC and my DD is expiring tomorrow. What will be done in that case? Any suggestions? I am tensed

I checked with HDFC Bank International DD validity is for 6 Months(if nothing explicitly mentioned on it), Domestic DDs have a validity of 3 Months

I have query about my status checking in ecas I am May 9th applicant DD payment

1. Will UCI number changes for every year when I called to Cic they gave me client id of 8 digits
2. How can I check my status where I tried to check it was saying that we cannot recognise you
What does it mean
3. Where we have to use "-" after 4 digits while checking in ecas?

No, UCI number remains same . I am also 8th may applicant ,payment made by DD which is not en cashed so far. If I call CIC will they provide my UCI ?.Can you please give me CIC Contact number

Try calling the Bank in Canada directly for an update. That's what I did! The bank details will be on the DD. Mine was SBI bank.

Rohit : Do the bank in canada give information about DD which are issued in india..

HDFC Bank Gave me DD of "Bank Of NOVA SCOTIA" Toronto.

Wt would be the validity ... bank is not able to telll.

i am worried.... 3 months already completed.. on 28th july.

hi Ricky I called to Cic on 0016139444000 and asked for UCI number they gave an eight digit client id number
But we have to try many times because every person don't know about uci they will give suggestion to mail to VO but By luck I got it so keep trying until you get it

I heard a news that the fixed deposit amount what we have shown to CIO while filling the application, the same should be carried in the savings format while travelling to canada. There will be a cross check for the same in airport while we land in canada. How far it is true?
