Hello

I have send hdfc bank dd for "Bank of nova scotia"
but when inquired about dd encashed or not in bank. bank says we can't say about it?
How we can know that dd is encashed or not?

HDFC branch manager can tell you about this. Sometimes, junior staff does not know the procedure or unwilling to co-operate. Talk to senior management staff of the branch, where you got your DD done. They will tell you about the DD status.

I hired a consultant and i applied last year also but due to CAP reached i got my packet back.
And i really wants to immigrate, so i don't want to take any chance or risk this time, so wants to suggest and recommend you some below points:

1)My spouse will also not accompany me "BUT I PAID FEES of $1100" ($ 550 for me + $ 550 for spouse). --- So, I RECOMMEND you to pay full fees for YOU + Spouse + Children (if any).

2)I am showing Full POF in the form of FD (6lk )+ Bank certificate (2.5 lk) = $ 14,720 (for family of two) - means liquid money, i am not sure about property as POF but you can show it as ASSET not as POF. --- I RECOMMEND you to Show POF in form of CASH you have in account OR FIXED DEPOSIT if any, as it is mentioned in check list also.
POF should be in form of: Bank Statement, Bank certificate, Fixed Deposit...

3)I Sent my application without my wife's ielts point as her result awaited.But i was able to score 67 without it.
But if your spouse having Scores CLB Level 4 in ielts then you will awarded 5 points if you send her IELTS report but you need to pay her fees and need to show POF for herself as well.

So, Dear Friend request you and recommend you to don't take any chance or risk and please PAY full fees and show POF for all applicant whether they are accompanying you or not.

Which adobe / acrobat reader version is perfect for filling out forms, as the font size in some text field is small and other is good

You can use Acrobat Professional/Reader latest version but never use Nitro Pro for PDF software as it is known to cause problems in the Fee payment form. One applicant was rejected because Nitro Pro software modified the credit card number entered by him to something else while saving the file and he did not notice post taking the printout. So, unfortunately he had to suffer.

Will CIC consider my master's degree as the highest degree?

I have sent my file for NOC 2171 and reached June 23, 2014. I claimed 69 points.

I have 10+ years of experience and I claimed 4+ for 2171. Rest of the years, I worked as S/W engineer and Senior S/W engineer.

Any information is appreciated.

Haven't Tried Centrum, but you can always rely on Thomas Cook as many here have opted for it and have received PER.

YES you shall get 23 points for ECA.

Depends on how many years of exp fall within the NOC (eligible NOCs and Skill Levels 0/A/B) and the number of years you can back up with Reference Letters, you will be awarded appropriate points.

I backed up 4+ years for 2171 with all the reference letters and I ignored rest of the years. As per the NOC website, S/W engineer would be the minimum qualification for 2171. I included all the exp, relieving letters for the previous years.

Concern:

"Fee payment form- permanent residency"(IMM 5620) of my application, "expiry date" of the credit card mentioned by me is "1" where as on credit card it is mentioned as "01". Since the form was not allowing to type "0" as prefix to "1", I left it as "1" instead of "01".
I am bit worried due to the above fact.

Will this be fine? or I have to inform CIC by an email. If by an email, on which ID we have to inform.


In-case, they do not accept any email change and I have to replace the entire form for this error, please advice where it has to be sent.

Please advice.


My application was received by CIC on 22nd May and I guess they are charging 12th May applications, so I have time to sort this issue.
