+1 Thanks mate for your incredible help.

I am trying to understand the spreadsheet. For 2133 it says "Estimated total worldwide of apps filed to CIC for this NOC by now is 453" and says "Estimated date by which you should file your application to be in the cap.... is 3/5/2015" So do I have so much time to apply? Does 'now' mean today 07/30/2014?
In contrast to "Estimated total worldwide of apps for this NOC received per work day, which will be charged.... is 3.85%" this 3.85% calculation dont match if I calculate with the other figure of the other columns. Can you shed some light on it?

Hi Serenity,
those words were written by me, so I can answer your questions.
Yes, you have so much time to apply, according to the estimate. Keep in mind that it's still an estimate, there are also different opinions on the estimates, and it's difficult to predict for sure.
Also, it's not really clear yet if FSW 2014 will end on April 30, 2015 (as the ministerial instructions tell) or on December 31, 2014 (as the news about Expression of Interest program might suggest).

Yes, "now" means today. The sheet is updated each 4 hours with the latest information.

The J column ("Estimated total worldwide # of apps for this NOC received per work day, which will be charged...") is calculated as I*F/E. - also note it's not in percents, it's an absolute value.
F and E columns contain constants which are mostly calculated based on FSW 2013 data, where we know for sure when caps got full and how many applications got into each cap.
I is calculated as number of applications for this NOC received in the last 37 work days, divided by 37 (i.e. it's application reception speed for this NOC).
37 was chosen arbitrarily, as a value sufficiently large to get rid of noise, and sufficiently small to ensure the initial spike of applications in May does not affect the estimates.

I hope this answers your questions.

PS - BTW, must say how strongly some of you came out for me. That makes me really humble guys!! :)

Let's hope these were the last words regarding this childish story.

Sometimes wondering how some people here want to make it in a foreign country which is so different to their home countries when they face such issues here in the forum.

So now, let's get back helping others here and updating each other instead of having such pointless discussions.

Hugs and kisses to all of us :) ;)

IF CC IS CHARGED, 100 PERCENT LIKELIHOOD OF PER . WHEN DID YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Hello people.

I have a little question (and it's been asked plenty of times) but I can't seem to find the answer on this sea of information which is this topic.

I'm in need of that email address to check if my job description matches with the one I applied for on the NOC list.

Would any1 who already knows the address be so kind to post it for me, please?

Thanks in advance

I'm still hopefull that my may 9th app will be charged, but I want to cover my bases here with official information from the government.

- First match the NOC which your duties and experience closely matches and is the least competitive among the available options.
- Secondly; for CIC evaluation Educational qualifications need not match.
- Thirdly - take a look at the Spreadsheet for the current projected total number of applications received and counted towards your CAP. It will give you a fair idea as to when it could probably be too late to apply (if at all).

Spreadsheet is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit#gid=153273759

Serenity_eee

Dont think of the outcome whether you will be in CAP or not.

Just make a choice and apply. I am very confident, you will make it. If possible, apply for some additional NOC too, if you feel your skills match there as well.
Bottom line: -> Apply
