For those who have received PER, does the ECAS status change?

Those whose fees are charged read "In Process" and after clicking "We received your application for permanent residence on [date]."

After PER, what would it say?

Thanks.

Can people who received PER pl answer this?, this will help people looking for PER after the CC charge.

Hi Seniors,

I had taken a Fixed deposit to show POF. The FD account will be Auto closed in 390 days(on Maturity).

If my application is not processed in this 390 days, and to show my POF again in the local VO, I have to start an another FD account which may be different from the now given FD account number. Will that be a problem?
Please advice.

There is a slim chance that the whole process goes beyond 390 days before you have been asked to present POF again. In case it does - you can submit the existing FD Account details and the Terms and Conditions (auto-maturity) and the new FD Account details (in the future) along with a cover letter to the VO.

This should be a satisfactory justification for the VO.

Hi
t
I have a question regarding to photo submission. it said ' each member of your family', does it mean myself, my husband and my child? or do I need to include my parents' and sister's? they do not stay with me nor will they accompany me.

Right, just the people in your application. Spouse and children.

It's difficult to say anything with 100% confidence but in my opinion, your application is likely to be refused.

What is the basis for your opinion? Any prior cases of which you have knowledge? Any written document or communication from CIC?

Don't say things like this unless you can point to the underlying support. You're needlessly scaring people.

thanks brother..

Actually we have more money in the same bank...but in the bankers certificate we have mentioned 8 lks nly n the receipt of the same..How can I add more money since I have submitted the bank certificate of along with application already?

You can't. If you had more settlement funds available, you should have listed them all and shown support for them all. It is needlessly risky to only show the exact amount required when you have more.

Not a problem man.
If VO will ask again. Then show them new FD. No problem. Visa Officers know all these things.

Thanks for your advice. May I ask 2 more questions, hope that you can share your ideas.
1. Does the status of dual-citizenship affect the chances of getting a visa?
2. I have HK and Australian citizenships. I have been living in HK over the past 10 yrs, so I just need to provide information/document of this past 10 yrs to CIC. My concern is, will CIC later on come back and ask me for more information/documents about my stay in Australia (which was more than 10 yrs ago)? .....As I worry my application process will become complicated and delayed....

1. I don't know, but I have never seen anything indicating that it is. Sometimes applicants from certain countries receive extra scrutiny, but Australia isn't one of those countries.

2. CIC generally asks about your history in the past 10 years. But if they have some reason why they want to ask about your life from Australia more than 10 years ago, I suppose they will ask, and you will need to be forthcoming about it. By the way, the PCC requirement is since age 18, not only for the last 10 years, so you are going to have to get a PCC from Australia as will your husband.

Ok in that case the spreadsheet assumption ( 20% of global 1112 applicants) from last year would still hold as there are 28+ forum applicants on forum till 6th may and 65+ till 8th May.
It should also mean that once 16th May (or 23 May to be more sure) pool is reached and cap gets updated after that .. we shall have a a better idea about cap limits as the 1112 applications just dried out after that.

Reasonable deduction, though nobody can say for sure, so apply ASAP.

I have a question about proof of fund.
As the amount in my bank account is not in CAD, do I need to do the calculation myself, converting the amount to CAD?
Or the CIC will do it itself?

hi everyone, i have a query that my brother is canadian national because of this i m getting 5 points. now my question is that my other brothers will also gets these 5 points or not, if they will also apply for fsw?

If you shown INR7.9 Lacs then its falling short of $500 (roughly) at the current rate.

I am a little curious to know whether the amount you presented as POF back then was exactly CAD 14720 or a little more ?

I am not sure if CIC reviews POF based on historical forex rates (or the rate as on date of application). If they do they will ask you to present revised statements but logically this does not happen until the app reaches post AOR stage and POF is reviewed as part of PER.

The most accurate answer would be from someone who has this experience in the past of his/her app being accepted/rejected due to forex variations.
dear brother thank you so much for your interest..
My application was filed on 19th..and sent on 10th june ..During dat time we maintined around 14,738CAD..The requied was 14720 CAD..but suddenly the cad value increased and now it lacks around 300 CAD..but as all the amount was FD and intrest rates are mentioned on the receipt..will dat help?
