How to measure points in English? Heard IELTS is required. Did not found anything about IELTS there. I have done IELTS with 8 average.

I applied in early july but after reading recent posts I realise that there could be issue with my application. My spouse mother's first name is different in my spouse birth certificate and different in the passport. Her mother's first name is correct in her passport and her birth certificate had alias/nickname of her mother. So she mentioned in the supplementary sheet explaining this point and stating that birth certificate name is incorrect, she also signed below that supplementary sheet but no specific affidavit was enclosed. Please suggest if this would be a problem, if so what could be the option left for me.

I know that I am posting this again but it will be helpful if members could help shed some light on this.

Hi Guys!! I have an urgent query, please help. I submitted my FSWP application on 16 July 2014(it was received on this date by CIC according to DHL courier tracking). I made a mistake in two documents, actaully i forgot to mention my parent's address and forgot to write my name in my native language. what should i do? I am planning to resend those documents with proper information filled and a letter explaining the situation. will they add those documents to my file? Please help.

Well that is a curve ball ... I would still stick with NOC 2281

Nope! as all the above one are about taking care of the infrastructure (computers and servers, in general) of an organization whereas i am mainly dealing with a big software installed on a system and making sure it does what it is supposed to be, troubleshoot and fix it or escalate it to folks above me. It is more of a service management than system admin.
I am just confused.

Hi All,
Few questions please help -
1) I will be sending my application for NOC 2174 (s/w engineer/ programmer related category). I was checking application status in cic website and see count as 131 but today I realised the count was last updated on May 2014, gosh, do you guys think enough applications might have been received by cic by now to fill the cap? ???

2) I m filling Generic Application IMM0008 form, I have doubt in Question 7 "Have you received your Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ)?"
Should I leave this unanswered as neither YES nor NO applies to me? I m not applying under Quebec. Or should I write NA (Not Applicable) under 7(b) question?

3) IM0008 - Personal Details - Question 3 - UCI, I had sent application earlier in 2010 but that gor rejected for some reason in Step2, so I ahve UCI #, should I mention that here? This is entirely new application should I be putting UCI # of old application, however this application is independant of that application?

4) IM0008 - Personal Details - Question 12 - Previous Country of Residence - I have 3 countries and there only 2 rows, should I create a new word file with details of Q 12 and 3rd country details and save it as Addendum of IM0008?

1. Please check the below link for fitment with one of the 50 open NOCs in FSW 2014:

2. If any above open NOC is a decent match then check the detailed job duties / lead statement for the same, and try to match what you do on a day to day basis at work with the duties of that particular NOC (from the NOC guide link below):

If everything matches well you are eligible to apply in FSW 2014. If you do not fit anywhere at all, then you are not eligible to apply for Canada FSW 2014 program at this time. Best wishes!

Gentlemen

I'm posting this again as I'm confused and don't know what should I do at this point.

All my documents are except the below below mentioned.

I'm from Srilanka and at the moment in Qatar.

I'm planning to apply for 0113 - Procurement Manager

The issue is,

I have the original translated copies of My BC & Marriage certificates.
Those were done by the Govt Sworn Translator and they don't provide any affidavit which is known to local officers.
Translation copies have the reference numbers of original certificates.

Is it ok, if I send my application with these documents?

Infact, I will be travelling to Srilanka next month and I can get the documents as per CIC's requirement by 20-08-2014.
But, Im worried about cap being filled...

Need your suggestions guys pls....

Dear Members,I sent my application today via UPS. The main envelope which had all the documents had all the details such as NOC Category, NOC: XXXX as per the Guideline 7000 but I didn't write the NOC code under the Receiver's section on the form that was provided to me by the UPS employee. I only mentioned:Citizenship And Immigration Canada,49 Dorchester Street Sydney, NS (Nova Scotia)B1P5Z2 CANADADo you guys think it is ok ?
