There is no problem in single females applying. Why would you even think that.

Dear Guys,

I am on the course of gathering documents to apply for FSW. All the firms that i worked with already gave me the reference letters. But, I am kind of stuck as one of the company in Saudi Arabia which I worked with in 2008-2009 is not ready to provide me a reference letter in their letterhead claiming that its against the standard procedure as I was also not a direct employee. I was under a contract. However its still true that I worked there for 19 months and more than 2 senior managers are ready to provide their personal reference for me.
Its just that I wont get a company letterhead. Is there any alternative way other than company letterhead that I could include my experience for the FSW application ?

Really would appreciate any helpful inputs friends. This is the only thing that is left for me to continue with my application :'(

If the reference letter on company letterhead is not possible at all then the next best option is to go with a reference letter with your job duties by senior managers on plain paper/notary affidavit and attach the below:-
i) his/her business card
ii) supporting documents such as appointment letter, payslips, promotion letter, Tax related documents from employer, emails etc.
iii) if possible printout of mail etc. which mentions that it is against company standard policies etc.

Hi, in your case you can do the following:

1. Provide written explanation why you are not able to provide duties on company letterhead

2. Provide e-mail or any other correspondence which you might have with the concerned parties of your previous company , regarding their incumbent policies of issuing reference letters

3. Yes you may take letters from your previous senior manager mentioning your duties. Provide their full contact details and business card.

4. Provide as many supporting documents as possible (mentioned on the checklist) to prove your occupancy in your previous company

Hi all..new to this forum and FSW process... i have a quick query. I hav applied under NOC 1112, my application should reach CIC by tomorrow. Is there any hope fr me under this NOC or shuld I strt thinking abt 2015 express entry (points r enough ~77 but i guess that is irrelevant). Wuld be helpful if seniors could comment on this.

Chances are 50-50 but always be +ve. But get ready for EXPRESS ENTRY 2015 too only if you are out of cap this year.

Get the personal letters and explain to CIC why you can't get one on letterhead. You'll be fine.

I applied in early july but after reading recent posts I realise that there could be issue with my application. My spouse mother's first name is different in my spouse birth certificate and different in the passport. Her mother's first name is correct in her passport and her birth certificate had alias/nickname of her mother. So she mentioned in the supplementary sheet explaining this point and stating that birth certificate name is incorrect, she also signed below that supplementary sheet but no specific affidavit was enclosed. Please suggest if this would be a problem, if so what could be the option left for me.

How to measure points in English? Heard IELTS is required. Did not found anything about IELTS there. I have done IELTS with 8 average.
