No. You need to send an e-mail to CIC asking for information about your application status.

I did it last year. It took a month to receive the response from CIC telling me my application package was returned due the cap was reached.

Remember to save time by providing your data (Name, Date of Birth and the date the application package was received by CIC) in the e-mail. You must send the e-mail through the contact e-mail account you have informed in your application package otherwise CIC won't response to you.

This is little complicated to tell how many points you get.. the dispute is your Doctorate degree. It seems (WES) your Transcripts / Supporting documents for Doctorate doesn't recognize your Dissertation work , hence they shy away from giving you a Phd equivalent (25 points). May be you can followup with WES to prove your Dissertaion. if completed ?

For your Master's being the highest in the order, 23 points are rest assured 8)

Please help determine the points I am entitled to claim (for education) with the ff. evaluation of WES:

Credential #1 Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (3 years)

Credential #2 Canadian Equivalency: Four years of professional study in law

Credential #3 Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (4 years) - equivalency is in conjunction with study previously completed in # 1.
(degree actually completed: Master's Degree)

Credential #4 Canadian Equivalency: Master's degree
REMARKS: Academics in the field, upon consideration of the dissertation, may in some instances consider
this credential to be equivalent to an earned doctorate (Ph.D.)[/b][/b][/b]
(degree actually completed: Doctorate degree)
