2. In generic application – dependents section
a. My spouse does not have surname, (I saw in cic website that if not surname then write the given name in surname place and write not applicable at given name place) – if I write like this then , the name is showing like – Not applicable.A – what should I do – My spouse name is not Not applicable

sir

I am talking about 12th point i.e Address , in which it states

List all addresses where you have lived from your 18th Birthday or the past 10 years, whichever is the earliest.

plz reply

thanks
Oh okay.

The Application guide states the following: "Indicate the residential addresses where you have lived since your 18th birthday or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent, complete with the postal code. "

As per my understanding you need to provide the addresses of the country where you were Living as a resident. Could be X, Y and Z in India (country of origin) + Could be A and B in the UAE (country of residence).

I do not think you have to provide the addresses where you traveled as a visitor or on short term, while living as a resident in another country: ex address of a hotel in Thailand while you were there on vacation during the period you were a resident in India, because you were not living in Thailand, you were living in India.

Like wise if you were living in the UAE and travelled to India on vacation for a given period - you do not need to provide the addresses you lived in India during those vacation period.

Thanks for the response. Few things in response to your answers which are still confusing me:

It is mentioned by various people on the forum to fill this form by applicant and spouse both, but isn't it to be filled by only applicant as spouse information is asked in the same form? Your Answer : Don't be silly. Various people on the forum has said and also on the checklist it is mentioned both of you must fill up this form separately.

When I read the guidelines or document checklist it says:
Supplementary Information: Your Travels (IMM 5562)
Who needs to fill out this application form?
This form must be completed by:
you, the principal applicant;
You must complete all sections including those for your spouse or common law partner (whether accompanying or not) and each dependent child over the age of 18 (whether accompanying or not).
Where is it mentioned that spouse has to fill it separately? If you can quote it from any document given by CIC?

II. Question 12: I am applying under NOC 1123 and my relevant designation is Marketing Coordinator in which I have worked for almost 4.5 years. Should I mention Marketing Coordinator here or is it necessary to mention one of the designations which are mentioned in the NOC Guide?I guess you missed to answer this question for me

Question 12: In the duties section I will only list those jobs which are relevant to my NOC only or all jobs I have done previously? Your Answer : All jobs

Guidelines Says:
b) Starting with your current occupation, list all of the occupations that you have had in the 10 years preceding the date of your application.
Note: List only occupations that fall in Skill Type 0, Skill Levels A or B of NOC 2011.

My question is what If certain jobs which I have done does not fall under the 50 occupations of NOC 2011 as I have to mention the NOC code for all those jobs as well?

Since I am in urgent need of this info, I am reposting it again. Do not consider this as Spam...
This is regarding the recent envelopes of the documents sent to WES Canada.

now to give the background, I have done Bachelors of Computer Engineering and prior to that I had done Diploma in Industrial Electronics.

The recent package of docs that I have sent to WES includes 2 envelopes:
1. Bachelors of Engineering marksheets and convocation
2. Diploma in Industrial Electronics marksheets and diploma certificate.

Now What I want to know here is what will be the outcome of the WES reports and more specifically how many points I will be able to claim from CIC as per WES report?

After SSC i.e. Standard 10th I joined Diploma which was 4 year course (normally its 3 year but this was Semester Sandwich Pattern which includes Inplant Training or Internship of 2 semesters.) Followed by Engineering of 3 years(direct joining into 2nd Year after Diploma)

All these affliated from Mumbai University (Engineering) and Mumbai State Board of Technical Education (Diploma).

Long story short:
Total years of Education 10+4+3 = 17 years
What will be my report as per WES and what will be points that I can claim from CIC?
Hi, first of all, total years of education is irrelevant, CIC is not concerned with your early education.
What is relevant is your post secondary education qualifications, specifically, bachelor's, master's and PhD. Since you have diplomas, we will have to wait and see how WES evaluates them. Till then

Same as you, sameerarena. Your DD probably was encashed after CIC checked if your application package was completed.

Next stop: PER

Please help determine the points I am entitled to claim (for education) with the ff. evaluation of WES:

Credential #1 Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (3 years)

Credential #2 Canadian Equivalency: Four years of professional study in law

Credential #3 Canadian Equivalency: Bachelor's degree (4 years) - equivalency is in conjunction with study previously completed in # 1.
(degree actually completed: Master's Degree)

Credential #4 Canadian Equivalency: Master's degree
REMARKS: Academics in the field, upon consideration of the dissertation, may in some instances consider
this credential to be equivalent to an earned doctorate (Ph.D.)[/b][/b][/b
]
(degree actually completed: Doctorate degree)

Hoping that someone has encountered the same evaluation.

Thank you.

Hi All
Do CIC send a mail informing applicant even if the application is being returned and not processed further?
Any idea?
Thanks
