How important is my designation in the employment letter to match one of the sample titles mentioned in the noc page.

My problem is that my designation does not match with the sample titles mentioned. And do the visa officer check with my present organisation about my job details?
My manger is ready to give one the sample titles mentioned in the list in the reference letter but he is skeptical that if some one checks with the organisation about the title then there could be trouble....

It is of little to no importance.

What is critical are the responsibilities ... remember a position A in one company might meant the same thing as position Z in another, because both positions involve the same duties.

Might be a very repetitive and a dumb questions but when it comes to Birth certificates, I want to be cautious.

Does anyone know if CIC accepts Secondary or Higher Secondary mark sheets as proof of Birth certificates provided the mark sheet has below:
1. DOB
2. Name of parents

Thomas, as per what I can understand I would also suggest the 2281 NOC. This is because 2281 does not only primarily cover Network Only. It is also meant for System Admins overseeing / operating IT infrastructure.

You were mostly working with IT incident management, presumably data center equipment, in positions 3 & 4 which is a little gray area with NOC 2281 but your positions 1 & 2 definitely fit the bill.

The main thing with NOC 2171 is that they are consultants i.e. they do not operate but design and implement the solution based on customer requirements.

That is my best effort analysis. I hope it has been helpful.

Thanks everyone for your inputs, let me know if anyone has any suggestion. Can i apply under 2 different NOC?

I need a beer now :o

Thanks,

Sample titles are "SAMPLE" titles , it is not something fixed which you need to fit yourself in against your NOC.

Secondly, your Manager should not agree and/or you should not try to coerce your Manager to such requests of yours and should only mention truthfully your actual job title on the reference letter.

Yes random checks including site visits are expected from local VO.

Job duties should match substantially against the NOC chosen, Job titles are not a matter of concern .

All the best!

YES

I think, there cannot be a certificate without the applicant's full name also. Add this also.
