Should I enter all my information into the SS again or can someone just add this update? I didn't save the edit link.

Hi,

I am still waiting for my WES evaluation to complete, which is scheduled to complete on Aug 11th. But, I want to get ready with other stuffs. So, i have few question (I am sure not complicated ones.. )

a) I have a kid who is 4yrs old. Do I have submit his passport as well while I submit the package to CIC ?
b) My HR has refused to give me the Roles and Responsibilities letter but I have the employment letter, what is the alternative/option I have ?

a) Yes. Passport, BC, and photos for kid.
b) No, it won't be alternative.

Following alternative can be noted:
1. If your supervisor/HR don't want to give you experience letter, try to get it someone senior to you within your department;
2. If point 1 fails, try to get it someone from your colleagues of your department; ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
3. If point 2 fails, try to get it someone/two from you colleagues of your company;ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
4. If point 3 fails, then go for self attested/notarized affidavit;
PS: The lower option you choose, the weaker your case become.


For all of the above cases, explain in cover letter, why you are not able to get the experience letter from your supervisor/HR. Also ensure providing appointment letter, promotion letter, increment letter, and pay slips.

I am an 8th May (10:07 AM) applicant but have not got my CC charged yet. My CC company says there was not failed attempt either.

I am very worried, about that as 9th May has started too.
Will calling the CIC get me some info... Please suggest. What is the number to call them?

Hi guys.. I really have no idea what cic is upto... Has anybody given call to CIC (1800 242 2100) to ask them whether this data includes applications received
upto 8th may or not??

I think, we all are in roller coaster. 7th, 8th and 9th are like moving upside. Just wait for few more weeks to see the full throttle. ;D

Well someone a few pages back wrote that CIC is working on the CEC applications more as there cap is getting updated by more than 300 Apps per week...did not want to believe him but the link also shows that...so if that is the case and FSW's are worked at 10 cases per week then I am not sure when my CC will be charged...

Oh man! Few more weeks

I was very sure today a lot of PERs would be issued. Not a single one done. The roller coaster is stuck for ages. I will prefer a bike journey better.
