So where exactly i need to attach these evidence? with Economic classes form? or with the settlement funds as mentioned in the checklist?

As annexure along with proof of funds.

Keep in mind, some people say no need. I attached some evidence of assets/liabilities but some may say it's unnecessary. If you are rushing to complete an application in a hot NOC I wouldn't do it.

It is just the systems of the bank (actually the lack of it) and the level of expectation that they have set, that determines this. Plus sometimes whether one goes to the right person at the bank could affect this as well. In some countries (Bangladesh that I can recall from the forum discussions, and HSBC Bank in particular there or maybe all banks there) they just have a standard answer we can't track DDs period. I am sure some other countries / banks say that too. The guy, for example in this case, has been told 15 days from his bank, I believe in Pakistan. HDFC tracked mine in a day and I have heard other similar cases as well where people found out the answer within hours. So it is not a standard yet in this industry to maintain one level of service for DD tracking, and it depends on what works as a standard at one place (i.e. country / bank) versus the other.

I am sure HSBC can track DDs because I obtained my DD from HSBC Canada via HSBC Hong Kong and was able to ask about the status of my DD. HSBC is worldwide I don't see why it would be different in another country's HSBC.

To be precise, CIC don't ask for it. ;D ;D

Or may be I am missing. ??? ???

From Bangladesh, Standard Chartered Bank don't cooperate. They lie that they don't know. >:( >:( >:(

Is the number 8 digits? If yes, it is your UCI and mention it else keep the UCI field blank.

Its 9 digit Alpha Numeric, I has not even reached the federal stage as well, hence will leave it black.

Thanks Century

any 8th may applicant NOC 2174 whose DD is cashed?

I contacted my DD issuer last Friday and he has forwarded the request to check status....he told me it will take around 15 days to get reply from bank.....its been 8 days now......lets hope to hear good news in this week.

15 days to just check the status of DD is too long since its just a 2-3 minute process for a bank, anyways ,yesterday i checked with my bank for my 8th May, DD status and still it was not charged. So, still have to wait but don't know how long cic will take to process 8th May DD's now.

If anyone else has any info , please do reply back. thanks.

Schedule A, Q5 asks about family name at birth for mother

Now you can correct it as VO stage!

oh there i mentioned my mothers maiden name.
because the question says "mothers name at birth".

is that wrong? i should NOT have written my mothers maiden name?
