4) Immigration office requested for processing this application - What do i need to fill here Huh? (Am applying from India)

What i need to provide here ? I have Birth certificate, PAN Number, AADHAAR card.

1) I have a 3 year bachleor degree from university so number of years become 15 right ?


3) Current occupation : WHat do i put here my designation ?

4) Intended occupation what do i put here ? Currently my designation is Systems engineer

But the question 2 in dependants section of Generic Application form does state:

2. a. Have you ever used any other name (e.g. Nickname, Maiden Name, Alias, etc)

This is where I mentioned her maiden name. And I think I am correct in doing this.

I did not fill forms like you have mentioned above.

For my wife, I have stated "used other name" and then mentioned her pre-marriage name.

What do I do now?

You should provide something very basic, no need to go into detail at this point.

So where exactly i need to attach these evidence? with Economic classes form? or with the settlement funds as mentioned in the checklist?

any 8th may applicant NOC 2174 whose DD is cashed?

I contacted my DD issuer last Friday and he has forwarded the request to check status....he told me it will take around 15 days to get reply from bank.....its been 8 days now......lets hope to hear good news in this week.

I did apply under Quebec Immigration few years back (2012) and the file is lying there ever since. I have a acknowledgement file number /Client ID.

Do i have to mention that in this form since this is for federal. Am confused with this part. Can someone recommend what i need to do in this case ?

Really don't understand why banks take so much time to get status about Dd. In this modern era we as young guns are absolutely low in patience.. I don't think we can b blamed on this because we all desire speed...and look at what cic is doing to us.. banks r doing the same.... Patience is what we all need

Is the number 8 digits? If yes, it is your UCI and mention it else keep the UCI field blank.

Even after next week, you may find your DD not encashed. It does not meant rejection. I think, still for next 2 weeks, CC/DD will be encashed. If your DD is encashed in the next 2 week, that means you need to wait 4 weeks to ascertain your DD status. This is the only drawback of using DD.
