No it can be in your currency. However, it needs to be equivalent of the amount (CAD) you need to show would also recommend 10% as a contingency reserve as $$ can bounce up and down...!!!

About the mailing of application...

What does "include 2 self-adressed mailing labels, one in english and the only in your official language" mean?

2 Labels that can be pasted on an envelope if for some reason your application needs to be returned (god Forbid)...!!!

1. Can we fill out forms in "small letters" or should be in "CAPITAL LETTERS"
2. Can I use sort form of some words like "Higher Sec" instead of "Higher Secondary" ?

Usually it can be requested to the bank at any time and re-made from them, hence people tend to send originals, but you are right sending a copy is fine. Either works!

Thanks, i was worried cause i got the Bank certificate over email( scan copy) from Bank with banak manager's sign and seal .I printed and attached with my application.
I have FDs in my home country.

You can write in the normal way as English is written (1st letter CAPITAL\UPPER CASE) and rest in (small letters/lower case)....unless the form or question requires specific letter case.

Currently CIC is charging 9th May applications for all NOCs

I agree with Harka007. I had done same thing. My file reached on May 1. It is returned on May 9. They won't ready any letter or ANY DOCUMENT whatsoever.
Original valid IELTS & Original ECA must. In my case, forget IELTS, I had actually got PR but lapsed due to residency obligations not met. Copy of old PR Card also attached. I got file back on May 9.... Those @ CIC are Robots who check the file vs. check list... funny part, in my file which I got back... all such cover letter etc. they put at last and only documents as per checklist have been arranged and looked at by them.

1. There is no indication about this on the guide. In this case both ways are OK.

2. In case of space constraint, you can write with PEN (Black Ink) after printing.

Not able to understand what was the major mistake done by you which caused rejection.
