Hey Ashif bro,

Charge date estimates and Apps by rcvd date and status, both of these sheets are showing a PER on 9/5/14 but I could not find the person in main sheet. CIO has just started charging 9th applicants, how come PER is issued so quickly.
It seems the sheet has picked a bug or it is a wrong entry. What do you say !!

There is one person who mistakenly put PER receive data instead of fee encashed date. I remember this from yesterday ...

I just noticed, in my company reference letter, issued date was mentioned 12th May 2013 rather 2014. I think HR mentioned 2013 by mistake. But I kept, all contract letters ( which shows contract ends until December 2014) and pay slips up to April 2014. My application received on 20th may 2014.

Please advise, if my application will be returned due to the date 2013 date on reference letter? I am worried now.

So you tried to make a mockery of the system by sending a result which got expired in Dec 2013... Are you serious...!!!

I can tell you your result of 2014 today "you are getting your file back" so no need to wait, prepare another package with the new IELTS result and send it over.

CIC will not care if you attached a letter stating you will send an updated result...they will not be able to locate your file and match it with the new IELTS.

btw one question.....You had 2.5 years before 2014 why did you not appear for IELTS again? and when it was announced in April that FSW will open why didn't you register for IELTS on the first day of info?...your file would have reached in 1st week of June....However, you would have played a safe bet...!!!

Thanks...also would request not to ask questions for which you already know the answers for... and try to show that you are innocent....(hard rule of CIC for IELTS validity - 2 years).

This is one of those 'Is there any hope?/ Should I do anything?' questions.

My application for FSW category 1112 was received on May 14th. As soon as I had heard that the doors for FSW had opened again in April, I rushed to re-prepare the application package and submit it. I had also applied in 2013 via a law firm but the application arrived after the quota of 300 places was filled.

So knowing it was going to be a 'race to the bottom' who gets the folder in first (for NOC 1112) I went this year and sent the papers even though my IELTS was from December 2011. On May 10, 2014 I took another IELTS. With my application I sent proof that I was registered for an updated IELTS - I said to myself - if I wait for the IELTS 2014 result to be in my hand, I stand no chance, I might better risk sending the application with the old IELTS and proof of registration for a new exam. (even though CIC has a hard rule about IELTS less than 2 years old)

Now I do have in my hands the official score sheet for the May, 10 2014 exam. Tried calling the 1 613 944 4000 number with no luck. Any advice what shall I do at this point to increase my chances for the CC to be charged and my application to be taken into consideration?

- do nothing
- email CIC a pdf/jpg of the 2014 IELTS exam
- mail CIC a paper copy of the 2014 IELTS exam (I am hesitant to mail the original as IELTS said they only send out one, and I might need it for other purposes, like Express Entry 2015 if I get rejected for 2014)
- try and try again to catch the CIC people on the phone

Did your designation change from software developer Java to Java Prof??? in between 2013 - 2014?

Thanks for the feedback Harka. The reference letter contains "Software Developer ( Java )", and my payslips shows "Java Prof". will that be ok?

• HEC Sealed Envelope (No. 1)
1. Copy of CNIC (In urdu)
2. Copy of Passport (For CNIC Translation in English)
3. Bachelor’s Degree (Original attested copy from HEC)
4. Bachelor’s Mark sheets (Original attested copy from HEC)
5. Master’s Degree (Original attested copy from HEC)
6. Master’s Transcripts (Original attested copy from HEC)
7. Copy of Birth Certificate (To verify name on educational documents)
8. Copy of Marriage Certificate (To verify official change of name)
9. Application Form of ICAS + Document Submission Form + Information for Payment Form (Included mistakenly in the HEC envelope. Already filled the form online and submitted. You can discard these forms as I have already paid online for the ECA through credit card)

I do not foresee a problem...did you attach a copy of your contract\offer letter? if it also reads Software dev "java" or Java Prof i dont think it would be a problem

Any special reason for getting your credentials evaluated by ICAS? if not then why not go for WES evaluation

Another reason I am suggesting for WES is that WES takes less than a month whereas, ICAS takes more than 3 months. So unless you have any special reason for ICAS I would suggest WES
