Admin(s),
This is about the spread sheet...
Is it possible to freeze the header row so that when we scroll down we can still see which column we are looking at, rather than scrolling up and down and remember where to look for :'(

Thanks in advance ;)

Brother,

When the users are over 50 then Google turns the excel Spreadsheet to HTML format which ignore the applied freezing ...:(

Nup, it is the google bug which converts spreadsheet into HTML if their are more than 50 users. If the users are less than 50 it works like normal xls spreadsheet.

This is one of those 'Is there any hope?/ Should I do anything?' questions.

My application for FSW category 1112 was received on May 14th. As soon as I had heard that the doors for FSW had opened again in April, I rushed to re-prepare the application package and submit it. I had also applied in 2013 via a law firm but the application arrived after the quota of 300 places was filled.

So knowing it was going to be a 'race to the bottom' who gets the folder in first (for NOC 1112) I went this year and sent the papers even though my IELTS was from December 2011. On May 10, 2014 I took another IELTS. With my application I sent proof that I was registered for an updated IELTS - I said to myself - if I wait for the IELTS 2014 result to be in my hand, I stand no chance, I might better risk sending the application with the old IELTS and proof of registration for a new exam. (even though CIC has a hard rule about IELTS less than 2 years old)

Now I do have in my hands the official score sheet for the May, 10 2014 exam. Tried calling the 1 613 944 4000 number with no luck. Any advice what shall I do at this point to increase my chances for the CC to be charged and my application to be taken into consideration?

- do nothing
- email CIC a pdf/jpg of the 2014 IELTS exam
- mail CIC a paper copy of the 2014 IELTS exam (I am hesitant to mail the original as IELTS said they only send out one, and I might need it for other purposes, like Express Entry 2015 if I get rejected for 2014)
- try and try again to catch the CIC people on the phone

Hello seniors,

I am planning to apply under NOC 0112 (Human Resource Manager) on August 05, 2014, as currently I am waiting to receive my ECA from CES. I want to inquire that, is it will be too late to apply & what are my chance that my application will be received to CIC before the cap limit of this NOC will get finish

I am planning to show FD on me and my wife name for proof of funds. Is it sufficient or any thing else needed???

Hey Ashif bro,

Charge date estimates and Apps by rcvd date and status, both of these sheets are showing a PER on 9/5/14 but I could not find the person in main sheet. CIO has just started charging 9th applicants, how come PER is issued so quickly.
It seems the sheet has picked a bug or it is a wrong entry. What do you say !! :o :o

If this FD amount covers the amount as CIC prescribes for your family (I guess 2 person in your application) then sufficient else add bank balance too to reach to limit prescribed.

Hi seniors, I'm new here and I need your advice please.

I set up my own company 3 years ago in the business services and I wanna apply for an occupation in the NOC list using my experience in the last 3 years. At my company, I am the legal rep, director and team member as well as I work hard just as other team members of mine: dealing with and servicing clients. Will my experience be considered to be PAID work experience?

Thank you so much in advance.

Yes, and the document checklist provides guidance on how to provide evidence of your duties during self-employment.

Hello.. My cousin is in The US but an Indian Citizen.. he is applying under FSW.. where should he mail his application ??

Cio Sydney Nova Scotia ??

Also.in I'm 008 they ask the preferred Visa office.. which office should he choose ?? The US or India ??

I strongly suggest your cousin read the Guide so he can make sure he knows the right thing to do for his situation. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

If he has been legally admitted to the US for at least a year, he can choose the VO covering the USA, which is CPC-O. He could always choose NDVO.
