Hi Guys,

CC charged a few hours ago 8TH MAY App for 1112.
So I have a situation, been in US for over 6 months now, but when I applied in May I had less than 6 mnths in US and so mentioned VO as New Delhi. Now, we have the employment authorization or eligibilty to work US for another year. Should my VO be Ottawa? And if so, should I send CIC an intimation that my VO needs to be changed? I dont have an email from CIC so dont have the UID number. How should I go about it

Please advice

Your VO will remain NDVO.

After you get your AOR, inform NDVO about your change of address. BTW, you cannot change your VO but you can certainly request.

Anyone in this forum with a working title of "software engineer", applied under the NOC 2171(IT consultant)? Is it possible to apply under a different NOC if you have different title?

Yes its not an issue for the title....

Its all about the JOb duties buddy which matches with the corresponding NOC job details.....

Thanks Goku for your quick revert. So I called CIC and the agent said I need to have stayed in US for one continuous year and since I have not I cannot select Ottawa . Would you still suggest I inform them about this change?
