Really? ;D hopefully , it can go through. Otherwise I'm out of game again. Thanks for your help , bro. Appreciate

Did you talk to your bank? Did you ever use your debit card in other country? Is it international debit card? If it was issued in subcontinent, did you have foreign currency account?

If the answers are yes, just relax.

I had been to Canada three years down the line. On study permit. Had got an UCI then. Do I need to use the same to track my file.

Note - My name then was different, as I have filed in a different name (post marriage)

I went to ICICI bank and HDFC bank

I have the account in ICICI they said , they cannot do DD for forex in their branch, and validity of DD is only 3 months

HDFC bank told they cannot issue DD if I dont have HDFC bank account.

I have ICICI prepaid CC , but I dont have name on my prepaid CC, they said they will do internally

I told ICICI that I want CC with my name printed on it, they said it will take 10 days

my wife has SBI CC but it sometimes make problem during payments.

moreover ICICI CC has grid security

people in the forum say DD is reliable

struck completely :( :(

I think you can use your parent's or sibling's cc. Just mention name and address of the person paying. In addition, i think you can make them write an authorization letter. Just my opinion. Seniors please confirm

Hi Aman,

Notarization of documents is not necessary for copies of documents already in English or French. Where such documents are not in English or French, please see the instruction from the guide below:

the dd which are issued to be encashed in indian currency are valid for 3 months as per rbi guidelines ...
go ahead and make a dd from any bank like ICICI, SBI etc ... if you still have a doubt go to thomas cook and ask them for Forex DD they will issue DD of either Bank of America or Deutche Bank and they guarantee that it is valisd for 6 months.

Note - in forex dd there is no expiration date and it is valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issue.

Hi, answer is NO since name has changed due to marriage and I guess passport number would have also changed by now. Wait for your PER to see your UCI for this application.

persuade yr in laws and try to make them understand the importance of it ... not only for applying abroad but also in life.

Hey guys,

The number of completed applications available on the cic website (I'm not allowed to post links - understandably)

My question is that is this the current status according to the date being shown at the bottom left i.e. "Date Modified: 2014-07-07"
OR
according to the footnote saying "May 4, 2013" 2014? - which should be a copy/paste error.

Sorry, not sure what your earlier query is but just saw your statement above. Why do you need your in-laws to get your marriage certificate? Weren't you issued one when you got married? If it got lost, can't you go to your registry for a reissue certificate or a new one??

It's From TD bank. I used it to pay for air ticket before. It worked. However why I'm worried this time is because I was trying to use my debit to shopping online several days Ago. It's not successful. I checked online some one said not every store in Canada accepts visa debit
