Guys,

Just got an email from cic for the PCC and medical request. I have couple of questions:

1. I have received my PCC from Indian consulate, but still waiting for clearance from USA. As per the email, I have to submit all these documents with in 60 days. In case, I do not receive PCC from USA in the given time frame, can I send remaining documents and send the pcc from US later?

2. They have asked me to pay RPRF fee for me and my wife only. But they have excluded by 18 months old child who is a US citizen, is that normal?

3. One basic question, now that I have received this email, does that mean they have evaluated my application and verified all the documents? In short, based on my application evaluation, I will receive PR?

1. you can get from fbi within 22 working days so no worries.. and send all in one shot bcos u have 60 days time
2. Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
Getting your permanent resident status – Fees
Getting your permanent resident status $490
Principal applicants (with some exceptions) and spouses and common-law partners coming with them to Canada must pay this fee. Applicants must pay this fee before CIC issues the permanent resident visa or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

These people do not have to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.
3. yes if pcc and medical went good...

CONGRATS...

No you must submit everything within given time frame. If you think you cant submit FBI clearance in 60 days then email them with some kind of proof that you have requested FBI clearance report but you haven't received one and ask them for extension

2. They have asked me to pay RPRF fee for me and my wife only. But they have excluded by 18 months old child who is a US citizen, is that normal?
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#pay-fee. Go to this link. See note at the end of step 3. It says "Dependent children are exempt from paying the right of Permanent Residence fee." So I think you should be ok.

3. One basic question, now that I have received this email, does that mean they have evaluated my application and verified all the documents? In short, based on my application evaluation, I will receive PR?
Yes It means your Eligibility & background portion is Passed. Now what remains is Criminality(almost passed as they are just waiting for PCC) & Medical. You have to clear all 4 stages to get through PR. P.S. Yes you will receive PR from my point of view. You have already passed tough part. Now what remains is Medical report if they are ok you shouldn't have any problem.

Hi Asmia, Same with me (8th May , DD). Checked with my bank 2 days back n it was still not charged.
I think the way things are going , it seems tht 8th May DD ppl need to wait from 1-2 weeks before hearing some news.

Hello Friends,

I am planning to send my application under NOC 2174, is it very late now or still I have chances ? Since May I got stuck with one document, I am waiting for that. Rest of the documents are ready. I am really worried. I have 6 yrs of exp in IT as Application developer( ITSM tool developer), can I apply under NOC 2171. Can I send 2 different application for both NOC.

Please suggest.

Regards,
SS

No you cant. If you provide any conflicting data that will create problem for you. How can you have one experience in one company and 2 different designations at same time. Looks like something is fishy. Better select NOC which you think is more suitable, collect all your documents & then send your application.

I see Attorney Cohen advertising to send multiple applications. Must be legal. Please send. No it's not too late, hurry it up! (Add: you have two NOC,claiming different experience for same time period? That's not possible!!)

See exclusion listed for 2174:

Exclusion(s)

Computer network technicians (2281)
Database analysts and data administrators (2172)
E-business managers (See 0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers)
Graphic designers and illustrators (5241)
Information systems analysts and consultants (2171)
Information systems testing technicians (2283)
Software engineers and designers (2173)

Forget about the cap. Send your application package to CIC soon.. Don't send 2 package. CIC may reject both..

You have chance but do it fast..
yes you can apply for multiple noc, but keep in mind that you have to produce the work experience letter for every noc your applying to get points...
And the dates u worked should not clash for different noc...
