Answersrssb said:Guys,
Just got an email from cic for the PCC and medical request. I have couple of questions:
1. I have received my PCC from Indian consulate, but still waiting for clearance from USA. As per the email, I have to submit all these documents with in 60 days. In case, I do not receive PCC from USA in the given time frame, can I send remaining documents and send the pcc from US later?
2. They have asked me to pay RPRF fee for me and my wife only. But they have excluded by 18 months old child who is a US citizen, is that normal?
3. One basic question, now that I have received this email, does that mean they have evaluated my application and verified all the documents? In short, based on my application evaluation, I will receive PR?
1) How long does it take to get PCC from USA? If you do your best and was unable to get PCC from USA within the given 60 days, you have to submit all the requested documents that are ready with an explanation letter about the ones still not ready together with any evidence in forms payments, correspondence and so on made in the course of securing them. The Visa officers are humans too, they will understand but they always want you to prove your beyond every reasonable doubt.
2)Base on information available on CIC website RPRF (C$490) is only for adults, minors are excluded from paying it .Your case has absolutely nothing to do with your child's US citizenship .
3) CIC does not verify ALL documents of every applicant in all cases. However, they verify cases that look suspicious and few others chosen randomly. Mind YOU, ECA organisations have made the job of CIC easier by verifying some of the educational credentials submitted to it for evaluation.
Congratulations.
