People in Canada can consider Canada post Xpress courier service over Fed Ex and DHL. Their charges are very nominal ($30) and they deliver on time and there is availability of online tracking. Plus their in store personnel have experience as to how the documents need to be placed and what address needs to be written etc.

My application reached inside 2 days with nominal price via Canada post. ;D

You are not alone in this scenario.
CIC will soon commence the distribution of PERS notifications to applicants affected.
Cheers.

Hope so, otherwise they will take atleast two years to complete the process. Last year the average per time was 1 week, and this year it's already 400 percent more.

How important is it to include a copy of my degree, given that the original ECA report already states that I have an "x" degree of education and the equivalent to canadian education?

I'm asking that cz I truly don't remember if I included or not a copy of my diploma/certificate within my complete application.

It is veryyyyyyyy important.
I know two applicants already in the last one month while applications were returned because of non inclusion of the photocopy of their academic qualification.
Cheers

Nope, I dont think it should be an issue since for the NID verification its not the primary documnet...

And for the marriage cert verification they can check with the concern marriage office...:)
