Hello Everyone.

Me and my spouse are applying for PR from India. My baby is a US citizen, we are not planning for his PR yet. Will he need any visa to enter in canada OR he can directly land in canada and get his visa on port?

Thanks
You will need to include your baby's detail in your application form...this means your baby's detail will be visible on the generic form and you will pay for his processing fee.
A close friend of mine in the same scenario like you sent his application in the first week of May and did not add his baby's details to his application package but only mentioned his baby name on the "Additional family information" form..He received his returned package on Monday of this week.Below is the reason for its returned...

"You indicated on your Additional family information the names of family members i.e (children/stepchildren) that do not appear on your application. All family members are required to be listed on your application and be examined whether they accompany or not"

Please include your baby in the application...if you have sent it,it will be returned. The good thing for my friend is that he already sent another application by middle of June.
Cheers.

Where have you been bro... I was about to ask avatar about why he doesn't want to include his child in PR application, but i guess he has a problem, his baby's US passport has been lost in india..
Please suggest what can be done in this case...

Ha ha I was a bit busy with some ramadan parties...:)

Anyway, Avatar will require atleast one PP...If he has the US PP copy of his child he can proceed with that one...After a while he can retake child's PP.

Also he can take Indian PP for his child...

Hello All

Can some one guide me regarding Schedule 3 form. I intend to apply against Electrical and Electronics Engineer

Under Work Experience ( page 3 of 3 ) part b, in "Occupation" should I write "Electrical and Electronics Engineer" or my designation which was "Deputy Manager"

Also from which bank in Pakistan I can get DD. I went to Standard Chartered and they said they do not support in issuing DD in foriegn currency

I just want to double check whether my fee is charged or not. I see my ECAS showing as We have received you PR application on 7th May and status is inprocess. does it mean that they have already encashed the DD ?? i have not taken the DD from a bank, the DD is from cox n kings, so its a bit tough to get the status of the DD

Thoughts?

Well I already have an additional original copy of IELTS and WES results.
I am just waiting to figure out, whats wrong.

I had kind of filled all the documents correctly and CC company has responded that there was no charge made.
I can get everything ready within a day or 2 to send a new package.
Now this is where it gets funny.
Do you have a copy of your previous application (hard copy or electronic copy)?
You just confirmed that you used CC......I will strongly advise you use DD for this second application.
For you to be assured that your second application is excellent, please let 2 or 3 buddies of yours help you check it.
My personal discovery is that you won't see your own mistake like others.
If you have luxury of time and your NOC is not hot in the real sense, maybe you can wait for a response from CIC in the next 20 working days.
Apart from the mail you already sent, please submit your query through the link below also...

You are compulsorily mandated to notorize every document of yours that is not in English.
It means that any document or supporting document that you want to include in your application which is written in your native language,You will
Translate it.
Certify the translated copy.
Notorize the translated copy.....and include photocopy of the original native document/supporting document in your package.
Include the certified/notorized copy in your application (including the affidavit of the translator).
If your documents are in English.....it is a waste of your hard earned cash to notorize as it does not add any positive view to your application.
You must also understand that there is no penalty for notorization of English documents....but it is not necessary.
Cheers.

My application was received by Mike on 7th May. CC was charged on 20th of June. I checked the status in ECAS using last year's UCI. It says Inprogress with message "Application was received on 7th May"

But, I have not received PER. Is this a cause of concern? Did anybody from 7th May applicants received PER.?

me too in the same boat, ECAS status showing as In progress but didn't get any PER mail

I accidentally created a duplicate Meverick.Canajun. Please help me delete this record seniors/moderator. I am Sorry for the bother.
