Hi,

I have a confusion regarding Non-availibility of birth certificate.

I have got non availibilty certificate for birth certificate which I have to translate in English.

Right now I am going for affidavit, now who should make this affidavit - My Maternal Grand Mother stating that Mrs XYZ is her daughter or my mother should make affidavit?

I am very much concern for this because I am relying on those '5 Points' of Adaption and I have to anyhow prove my mother and aunt living in Canada are sisters.

Please someone tell me what shall I do....

Can anyone please tell me what content shall I write so that it would be very clear for CIC.

It depends, If you want to apply now better you do it quickly because your NOC 2173/ 2174 are very hot, might filled by August end.
Because you are already in canada, you can opt for srf after completing the PhD and later can apply under Canadian experience class. You cannot rely on the PhD steam, because they might shut it down in 2015.
They are not going to slow down the 2014 applicant to make 2015 a success, because by the time they start evaluation of express entry apps, most of the 2014 apps will be with local VOs and local VOs work at their own pace. btw have you done your IELTS (General training) yet.

Hopefully I can get more score in the general one. Another question please, I have calculated my potential points and it may roughly be 70 or 72 maximum (still depends on my IELTS score). Is that good ? or little bit risky ?

Can somebody advise if those May 7 applicants who were not yet charged are already out of the race?

Hi mine also may 7th noc 2173 CC not charged ... and I applied through law firm in Canada. I enquired with them and they told they didn't receive any application back....We can see some of our friends in this forum they received the package back due to various rejected reasons....hence my lawyer is situated in Canada itself they should have received the package at the earliest if it got rejected... they asked me to wait for some more time....everyday I am loosing hope.....

Anything more than 67 is okay, but keeping a positive margin of 2 points is advised. You have enough points, so go ahead and apply as soon as possible. Best of Luck..

hi everyone. Im a newbie here and thankful to have joined here. Im fsw 2014 June 20 applicant, NOC 3012. I am looking forward for your help in my queries. I would deeply appreciate all your replies. Here are my questions:

!. How to check application status online? I tried to google it and it asks for identification number coming from CIC. When can we get this one? are they going to email that one to us? If you haven't dealt with CIO before you will not have it. Wait till you get PER or Application returned for UCI code

2. Regarding the bank statement for proof of funds. Would CIC call the bank for verification? AT what stage of the processing? So, we cannot take the money until the decision is made? Local VO may call your bank if they wish, but they will ask for updated statements later on. so if you withdraw the money it will create suspicion in their mind

3. For the employment certificate; Are they going to call the employer for the verification of your employment including the previous ones? I am just worried that my previous employer will not track my employment since I was employed there 4 years ago. Local VO may call your bank if they wish, but is your Reference letter recent or not .. with contact details of your Mgr/ Supervisor ?

4. I am using bank draft for my mode of payment, is there any way that I will know that I am being charged already? Will the bank inform me if it in cashed already? No...Wait till you get PER

5. Regarding the global spread sheet, how much percentage will it represent the entire applicants globally. I believe not all will enter their data like myself, I didnt do that yet. As per last Cap update it is ~ 15%. Pls enter your details using tinyurl

I have reference letters from my past 2 employers with documentation of duties & everything. For the past 5 years of my self employment as an app developer, I took printouts of monthly financial statements provided by Apple online. And also printouts of bank statement & other emails from bank showing remittances.

Do I need to do anything more about description of my duties as self employed ? I am confused. Also if CIC considers this documentation insufficient, would they return the application as such OR will not count these 5 years of experience as valid. I can still make enough points without these 5 years of experience. I have pinged so many immigration lawyers in Canada for paid consultation on this but no one has responded back.

After 2 months of hectic “running behind documents “activities I was finally able to courier my application via UPS yesterday. It is expected to reach there by Monday. I will update the spreadsheet once that's is reached.

I took 3 DD's instead of single one ( 2*550 and 1* 150) , Secondly I did not get a Birth certificate so got an affidavit signed by Notary and also included a notarized copy of Secondary leaving Certificate which has date of birth. At this stage I am little worried about DD part but again let the time answers it

I checked multiple times not sure whether I missed anything. I am not going to think much at this time as this has already taken big chunk of my time in last 2 months and it was equally frustrating.
