I am sure this question has been asked on the forum on a number of occasions already. But it is hard to sift through 2500 pages to find the correct answer.

My Birth certificate does not have my name on it. What supporting documents should be sent with the application in this case? My High school certificate has my date of birth, and my parent's name on it. Should i get it notarized? Any affidavit is required as well? If yes, can any one share the format please.

You can use your High school certificate as birth certificate.

When you will requested by respective VO....
At what stage does CIC ask for police clerance certificate?
And how much of lead time would CIC give for submission?

Hi Century,

In my application I have shown liabilities as Zero and as proof of funds I have shown Fixed deposits and bank statements to shown equivalent of CAD 18100. Now after looking at the various messages in forum, I have learned that VO would be asking for 6-12 months of bank statement. Now my query is which bank account statement would they be asking? I have provided two bank statements (of only 1 month) in my application. So would they be asking both 6-12 month statements for both accounts?

My second query is that I have got one home loan and one personal loan running. Once I show my 6 to 12 months statement then the EMI's would be clearly reflected in them. So in that scenario how can I explain it to them that I have utilized this money to buy a property in the backdrop that I had shown zero as liabilities in my application? I am kind of worried thinking about this. I need help.

Regards,
Monu

The VO can ask about any account they wish to know about and can make any inquiries they wish.

If it is clear from your account statements that you have a liability such as a home loan that you didn't list on your application form, the VO may ask you for further details. It is a misrepresentation, but unless someone with this specific experience comes to the forum to answer your question, I don't think anybody knows whether they will consider it a serious misrepresentation. My own reasoning, but it is just a guess, is that it will not be considered a serious misrepresentation unless there is evidence that you were trying to deliberately hide your true financial situation, or the liability significantly changes the VO's opinion of whether you can economically establish yourself in Canada.

Good luck.

Yes....especially if you use a bank certificate, there is every likelihood that it will be requested.
If you provide about 6 month statements of account at the application stage, chances are low that you will be asked for an update during medicals.
I drew my conclusion from previous applicants.
Cheers.

Is there a lot of variation depending on the visa office?

Just want to clear one thing that i heard from forum that trnsalted document needs an affidavit. I have submittde translation of birth certificate of mine and my spouse but consultant dint mention any affidavit. will it have effect on my application plz advise. Thanks

According to the guide, any translated document must be accompanied by a certified copy of the original and a translator's affidavit.

Whether this is cause for rejection depends somewhat on who is evaluating your application, but I believe there must be info on the forum from people who have had similar experiences. Anyone familiar with FSW13 experiences that can help?

Do you have GAZETTE notification if yes its enough otherwise need AFFIDAVIT.

What I've heard from a Fillipino on this forum is that the time they give for PCCs is just 30 days. I posted a question on how strictly this was enforced, but no one has replied back!!!

someone just clarified after your post that it is 60 days. I think initiating process after you receive PER may not be a bad idea.
Seniors - any thoughts?

Has anyone got any AOR letter this year?
