What I've heard from a Fillipino on this forum is that the time they give for PCCs is just 30 days. I posted a question on how strictly this was enforced, but no one has replied back!!!

Last year one of my friend got a letter that he should submit the pcc within 30 days by NDVO office, but he did't get it within the time frame, he send the pcc after 65 days which is 35 days more.... but it did't make any issue, passport request came after 2 weeks..

someone just clarified after your post that it is 60 days. I think initiating process after you receive PER may not be a bad idea.

Its just a guess dear...i said in my previous post that i am not sure about it...but some forum members posted vo says 30 days to submit....
Nd now someone says 60 days...i think those who have received medical request can guide better....

I am sure this question has been asked on the forum on a number of occasions already. But it is hard to sift through 2500 pages to find the correct answer.

My Birth certificate does not have my name on it. What supporting documents should be sent with the application in this case? My High school certificate has my date of birth, and my parent's name on it. Should i get it notarized? Any affidavit is required as well? If yes, can any one share the format please.

yes SSC will be accepted..better to get the copy notarized and and also keep a covering letter xplaining the things..

Do you have GAZETTE notification if yes its enough otherwise need AFFIDAVIT.

Not to forget Mate they took almost 20+ days to charge 7th may applicants. SO we can imagine the no. of application received on that day.

I think it will take almost a 20 days from now on to send PER's.

Does anyone have any idea or past experience on how much time does it take for cic/visa office to make a decision after receiving medical and police report from the applicant? and How much time to issue PR documents after making a decision?

I got employment reference letters from my past employers which counts up to 41 months in the last 10 years. Additionally I am self employed for past 5 years and the only proof I can readily show is online app sales financial statements from Apple. Apple will generally not issue stamped/certified copies of sales and even if it would it would take lot of time. I can also show company bank statements in addition to online financial statements prints.

My question is even if CIC considers the documentation of last 5 years of experience/list of duties as inadequate, do they turn return the application back or they can still consider the remaining 41 months of experience and calculate points. I still can make enough points even without last 5 years experience.

Yes they will give you points for any experience they believe is credible if it falls within skill type 0 or skill level A or B.

I think the sales statements from Apple may be enough to get you credit for that but even if not you make the pass mark so you are fine.

congrats... you will not get the request of PCC from CIC. You will be asked by the local VO when the file is transferred.

My CC is charged on 9-Jul..this is a good news for now ;D

Request help with one query:
I have not submitted the PCC with initial application. Could someone please let me know by when I can expect to get the request from CIO to submit my PCC ?

We are from india and me & my wife are currently in 2 different states. Is it ok if we both apply the PCC from separate states ? or is it any concern.

From where you are dear...i got my pcc on 4th day after applying.... I dnt think so it is time consuming in INDIA.... But it has been already cleared by our forum member that there is no time bound issue to submit pcc....so there is no need to worry....
