Hi Guys,
My friend has sent visa photographs instead of immigration photographs with application i.e. chin to crown 35mm.
Is it going to create any problem for him.

I fear the same for us. I measured our left over photos and measures in excess of 30mm.

Thanks Nishesh, so that means that the amount has to be in cash or liquidable forms. Does Insurance policies, qualify in this category.

if it is true, i should get two UCI number in last time when i applied for my spouse and me.

But i got only one for both of us.

I dont know why. We got two numbers (for myself and my spouse) the first time when applied for visitor visa and those same numbers were assigned in recent FSW application. The same was reflected on medical instruction forms that we recently received.

You won't get one. Just have to wait for PER email to know your UCI#.

Thats a little surprise! Is both of your last names the same? If it is...that may explain why you got only ONE!

True, each member will have unique UCI number which will be linked to your UCI as you will be the primary applicant

U can try this, i used the same last year to get my UCI number:
To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number

remember they might tell you we dont have access to the system, you should call them 1 more day,
if they says again try it again. tell them i have an application in progress and i want to know
the client ID number.

I checked with several banks today for DD and all of them are saying that DD is valid for 3 months and anything above 3 months will not be cached
I spoke to 3 or 4 banks but all of them speak about Reserve bank rule. I think that rule is applicable only for internal DDs and international DD should be en cashed even after 3 months

Please help where are you all taking DD in India

You can opt for thomos cook.... Dd issued from thomos cook also valid for 6 months...
