Do you anybody who had got an Bank certificate?? or Do you have an format handy??

I did call my bank and asked for an Bank certificate but they want me to visit the bank in person(in the USA) and I am currently not in USA. SO before I make a trip to USA just wanted to make sure what i should make my bank write on the certificate.


Does anyone have any format of Bank certificates or know of any format, please share??

Applicants who cannot determine an appropriate NOC code for their occupation can contact the NOC Inquiry team at noc-cnp @ workingincanada.gc.ca.
Be sure to list your job duties and the education requirements for your occupation when you contact them. They will be able to provide you an appropriate NOC Code for your occupation.

Note that the final decision to approve an NOC code for an applicant's occupation lies with a CIC officer. The NOC team can only guide or help you choose an appropriate code, however the final decision lies with a CIC officer.

We´re in this together, guys. I called my bank today and there were no tries to charge my credit card yet and I haven´t received my application back (if It was rejected for other reasons than credit card failing, then It probably would have already returned, since I´ve heard of other May 7th guys that have already received their application back)
So, I am still hopeful. In my opinion, no news is good news, even if CIC has already started charging May 8th applications.

Applicants from previous days, have you seen this happening? Applications that arrived a day later than yours being charged before yours and then yours get charged/encashed?

yes my dear waiting for longgggggg time ... in my case my application reached there at 9:47 am and my lawyer is in canada itself and i enquired about the status yesterday and yet to get a reply from CIC ... that means its not rejected yet...

Imprtant Notice for all applicants of May 7th and before:

Please use this method and inform the result.

 Call at – 0016139444000
 Select 1 for English
 Then 1 for foreign affair
 2 for immigration
 Call is being transferred to CIC
 Then 1 for English
 2 for status
 1 for PR
- Enter your UCI and then 1 to confirm it
- Enter your birth year and then 1 to confirm it:
It will tell you if your application is received otherwise it will transfer to an agent. Then hang up as the agent will not give you any information.
It seem the information of this interactive servce is more recent compared to ECAS.

Tried it! The step on selecting 1 for foreign affairs didn't apply anyway.
Also, they gave a no to reach CIC directly +1 888 242 2100. That should make the steps shorter but the line appears very busy as expected.
Will try more, though I'm a May 8th applicant.

Yes, I got it done. It is like below (can't remember fully):

On Letter Head Paper

Balance Confirmation Certificate

This to certify that Mr. Century, son of MR MY_FATHER'S-NAME, residing at MY_ADDRESS, is maintaining the account, account name and account number, from DDMMYY till today. His current bank balance as of today, DDMMYY, is Tk NNNNNN.NN, which is equivalent to Canadian Dollar nnnnnnnn.nn.

But be sure that your bank will certainly have their readilly available format. So relax on this issue.

I got the same request. Just thinking, why did they ask for updated evidence of settlement funds. Did u just send a statement shaowing balance? If so, does it have average balance as well??

Of course some DDs in the list would have charged but folks just don't know yet. But you are right, just 'caz May 8th started does NOT mean May 7th is all over. It could be NOC specific files for certain NOCs at CIO where may be May 7th stack was over and the guy(s) now needs to pick new work so he / she is given May 8th files. There could be similarly several other reasons to start May 8th batch. Plus there's just one May 8th case so far anyway!! May 7th files should continue along side for the next 10 working days at the very least. Good luck to everyone on that list!!!

Yes applicants from previous days confirmed this was happening regularly here. Nothing new!!! Before exhausting previous day's files they tend to move to the next day and then both days' applications are progressed simultaneously (i.e. in parallel).

I have high hopes you are right.
And it makes me feel better to know from the other applicants that it is normal to see later applications being charged before previous ones. Well, as I´ve said, no news is good news at this point of the game.

that's a really long list.....what cio is doing? spending more than 2 weeks on may 7th applicants still these guys have no updates? pathetic processing speed!

I totally agree, but I believe that it is proportional to the amount of applications CIC had received that day.
I presume that part of people on the list either are on the same boat as we are or just forgot to update if they were charged or rejected...

The only thing we can do now is to be hopeful and survive one more long weekend

If an applicant is already in Canada, does he still needs to send Proof of Funds??
CIC website says below clearly, which means if you are in Canada or have an arranged emplymnet offer, you dnt need to send POF..... still wanted to double check

You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
•you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
•you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

•you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

So with only visitor visa at Canada and no work permit, one has to show POF - that is my understanding

BUT DATE OF ISSUE ON FD IS 13TH JUNE ...IS IT OK??

I didn’t mean to divide.... I was trying to say I have seen a lot of folks from Punjab/Haryana(mainly from north) very eager to settle in Canada(and they have their good own reason or the same)

There are even places in Canada which are even unofficially called 'Mini Punjab' or 'Mini India' and are mainly inhabited by North Indian..... You might know that well, as looks like you had been to Canada

I no way mean to divide or categories people as north india, south indian, gujju, Punjabi,black or white people etc etc…. we are all HUMANS!!
My only point was(that too in a sarcastic way ) you will find good number of north Indians in Canada…… have seen that atleast where I live-Toronto

What is complicated is that a lot of applicant´s lives are sort of frozen because of this process... as for me, I can´t make any decision in my professional life right now (like applying for better jobs) before knowing if I am in or not in the game, and that is killing me...
Almost 2 months waiting...
