I had sent only 1 month statement with my application as the checklist does not specify how many months of statement required.
With MR email, visa office has requested 6 months of POF. So, I think 6 months is what they look for, but 1 month statement with initial application would not cause any problem in case you did not maintain enough balance in the past to show. Visa office will anyways ask for it at a later stage when you can send the updated 6 months POF. Good luck!

I agree. One of the CPC-O applicant who received MR was not asked any updated POF because he already sent 6 months statement with the initial application. 3 month may also suffice as Ashif mentioned.

You can provide statements for as longer time as possible, if its 6 months good..
People usually put their money in their accounts for applying for FSWP and by the time they apply the money have a maturity period of one month or less.. You can send one month statment in this case, or lesser whatever the case is.. Your VO will then ask for 6 months bank statement later, by that time i am sure it the maturity period would become 6+ months. Just make sure the money stays there!

My employer is not willing to give me a letterhead mentioning my duties and responsibilities. I am not sure how to get this done. Blank Letterhead will not be available for the associates. Many working in IT companies have this problem. Kindly advice me what to do in this case.

Moreover I am going to start my process in next 2 days. I hope 2171 cap will not get over by August end. How long will it take to get the ECA done if I have all docs ready? Please advice.

It might be okay, but if you are sending for less than a month at least send a balance certificate along with it.

Yes ofcourse, i would suggest everyone to send both, especially bank balance certificate.. Thats the thing wanted by CIC according to the checklist!

Updated evidence of settlement funds (showing 6 months deposits/ withdrawals history) for yourself. Please provide us with documents which show source of large deposits. If the funds come from another account, you must provide copies of account statement showing movements of funds.

We´re in this together, guys. I called my bank today and there were no tries to charge my credit card yet and I haven´t received my application back (if It was rejected for other reasons than credit card failing, then It probably would have already returned, since I´ve heard of other May 7th guys that have already received their application back)
So, I am still hopeful. In my opinion, no news is good news, even if CIC has already started charging May 8th applications.

Applicants from previous days, have you seen this happening? Applications that arrived a day later than yours being charged before yours and then yours get charged/encashed?

that's a really long list.....what cio is doing? spending more than 2 weeks on may 7th applicants still these guys have no updates? pathetic processing speed!

If an applicant is already in Canada, does he still needs to send Proof of Funds??
CIC website says below clearly, which means if you are in Canada or have an arranged emplymnet offer, you dnt need to send POF..... still wanted to double check

You do not have to show that you have these funds if:
•you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
•you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

I want to apply under 2172 NOC(Database Analyst) and below are my Job duties and Responsibilities. Please give a look and let me know that whether these duties are coming under 2172 or not. Please help guys I need your help.

JOB DUTIES:
1. Reading, understanding and documenting existing system requirement for Health Care solution division, US developed in Oracle database and creating technical specifications from the functional requirements document. Assisting in creating design document using Microsoft Visio tool.

2. Responsible for development , designing, enhancement and testing of new web and database management system using Dotnet4.0 and oracle database as per the requirements understanding and modifying existing data model and architecture and various tables used in the system.

3. To provide support in system and integration testing phase. To write SQL queries in oracle database system to fetch results to conduct data analysis.

4. To identify technology limitations, gap, upgrade requirement and deficiencies in existing dbms system and web application and create or suggest procedures and processes for improvements. To evaluate and analyze new software development and database management tool and suggesting them to management for implementation.

5. Responsible for reviewing, planning or supervising the development and integration done by the team members and repairing or suggesting improvements in the program performance if needed.

6. To Develop and enhance data and network models for efficient design, architecture and to
Increase performance.

7. To code and write SQL database queries that are comprehensive accurate and repeatable to test all type of web scenarios and data model.

8. To make sure that the complete documentation of the changes/system is done as per the quality assurance standards.

Post June version of IMM0008ENU generic and Pre-June version don't appear to have any difference apart from the Consent page (Pg5) where CIC included something related to performance research or so...but I stand to be corrected...

I believe there is nothing to be worried about this in my honest view.

Dear Experts,

I sent my application on 19th June 2014 and it was received by CIC (as per fedex) on 25th June 2014. However, officially no news from them so far.

At that time, I sent updated form IMM 0008 Generic application form (July-2014 version) but now it seems they have again updated the form and it appears to be IMM 0008 Generic Application form (June-2014). Now what should I do? Do I need to send the form again or No need.

Secondly, when I filled the generic application form in dependent section by selecting Q10 as "Spouse", check Q11 to "Yes", and Q12 was becoming grayed and unable to be populated. Q 12 is basically dependent type but as I said it was becoming grayed and I was unable to select any thing so I left this question blank.
I am worried now is there any problem in this case, or nor problem.

do the easy work, make ur own reference letter, make a letter head and get ur matter printed, sign it off by ur employer and send it. if ur employer is not signing it, make an affidavit, mention everything abt ur job duties and role and position. explain abt y ur employer is not issuing u the letter (may be useless hr policies or other shit company policies), attach separate reference letters from some of ur colleagues with their contacts and details, who should endorse u about ur job duties and other things.....send it. most of the time it works, attach pay slips, job offer letter copy (job offer letter often contains job duties and roles and other things which might help) and any other supporting material u can. if ur salary is transferred via bank and u don't recv pay slips, explain this in affidavit, give bank details so that they can verify if needed that u r actually employed and receiving salary for atleast one continuous year of employment. attach any email conversation u have saved while getting the job when u were joining the company so that it can be helpful.

hope this might help, seniors can further help u in this regard and also must correct me where required.
