Hello Friends.....I hope you all are doing good at your respective places. I have one query although I know its too early to expect anything. I have just sent my certificates to WES for the assessment.And my university has also forwarded the transcripts they are yet to reach WES. My query is by when I can expect my case to be taken up by CIC although I am yet to apply and people who have applied in the month of May itself are yet to receive there results and from January 2015 onwards new set of rules will prevail. Will I be examined under current guidelines or under express entry.

If your application reaches CIC before January 2015 (given that you make the cap), it should be assessed according to current rules. What happens if they cannot complete processing of submitted applications under FSW 2014 before employing express entry? My guess would be that they would continue to process the two different applications separately.

Hey friends of India.....

If I want to send translated documents, should I send the original translated documents or have to send the photocopy of the original translated one?? By the way, some of the members of the forum are talking about cover letter. There is nothing mentioned in the document checklist for cover letter, why this letter?

Thanks

Hi Sajib,

Quoting from the guide

Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.

Cover letter is a nice gesture, as well as a good place to mention anything peculiar about your application, if any.

Regards

@century

You just hit a six (6) !!

But I'm a "conservative" giving you only +1 :P

For eligible criteria, you must have continuous one year of experiences in one the 50 eligible NOCs.

For point criteria, you NOC got to be in Skill level O, A, or B category. So you will get points for 5 years.

I don't know why still some people is making it controversial again and again in the name of "conservative" and "not so clear".

And even I ask canadavisa.com for their advice and following is their response:

Many people incorrectly assume that an applicant can only claim points for their work experience in the occupation under which they are applying. This is false.

Thanks buddy.... :-*

@harry,

I don't think you need to apply your brains.. just go to your Institute and get it done - they know their job well. Unless you're the first person ever pass out from your Instt. who's requesting for a Transcript.

To ans your query.. most of the Autonomous colleges/ Instt. in India its either 'Controller of Exams' or 'Registrar' who does it. Also, its possible that there's nobody with a designation of "Controller of Exams'' in the Instt. in which case the 'Registrar' is playing dual role.
Final decision will be WES' so if they aren't satisfied they'll let you know their exact requirement. 8)

Good luck !

My query is for Form Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 456 KB) . I submitted form that was displayed on CIC website in May 2014.
But now I see on CIC website the form update in June 2014. However insight questions are same for both forms................... Will it effect to my application??? .
