Congrats... i am 5 th may applicant. No PER yet. Dd encashed 6 th june. I dont know why not getting PER. Ecas status in process. Now im loosing the hope.

Go ahead clicking on the In Progress link, if you see something such as "We received your PR application on....", then you are ABSOLUTELY ok. Per will be sent to you quickly. I recommend you to check your email carefully, spam/trunk folder. Make sure you are checking the email you provided CIC via general form.

Hi,
I've applied for 2174 from UK and the application was received on May 13th 2014. Nothing heard yet, CC has not been charged yet. The cap reached to 106 until May 6th applications... Has there any chance left for me. How many applications will be finalized under 2174, I guess 500... Please help!!!

answer to your query is YES.. there is starting rush for 2174 for 5-6-7 may but later on, cic will be receiving less no. of applications and furthermore, less no. of app for 2174. Many are still buzzy with ielts and wes.

Keep your fingers crosssed. as per my experience, you will be easily in cap :P :P :P :P :P

Thanks dhanu 786 for the quick reply.. My understanding is that they'll take first 1000 applications and only 500 will move further for the next step... Is that correct? How do they finalize 500 out of 1000. is that also on first come first serve basis.... Thanks again for your response.

Should 7 May applicants, especially the ones that have sent using DD start calling CIC...

any advice seniors?

As per the sheet only 5 of them who got DD is cashed by CIC from 1st May to 6th May.
I don't know why this much delay for the people sent via DD. I'm 7th May applicant 10:19AM.
I see in the sheet the applicant 7th may and 1:57PM got their CC charged. I'm so much worried on this. Anybody please respond me, why such kind of delay for DD.

Dear Affy, Among all other things the MAIN purpose of the reference letter is to capture the roles and responsibilities per the NOC requirements. That is how CIC will judge whether you meet the NOC requirements to qualify for PER in the particular FSW NOC you have applied for. It doesn't need to say automotive systems because mechanical engineers can design just about anything so it's okay if it is generic and not specific, BUT DOES IT FALL IN LINE WITH THE NOC ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIREMENTS? That's what matters!!

Screw HR, you don't need to inform them anything as long as you are able to get this letter by making up a story of princess and fairies!!! ;D I believe you have already sent the application, so you already got the letter from them. That story is closed then. Good luck for your promotion as well! :)

Thanks Oscar...I think it does meet the criteria...When will I know about my status...Application received??

My Application was received on June 12th by DAVID

And One Q - whats AOR, PER?

Dear Fellows,

Please confirm Address?? to submit case to CIC by courier (DHL)?? for FSWP category 1

Any CC or DD charged after 7th May?

My application reached at 21st May in 2174. Now I'm kinda scary seeing 106 cap. Seniors, what do u think, will I make it?

Another thing, my IELTS score will be expired on October 2014. Do you think this will cause any problem?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Binuky,

Congratulations on your DD encashment. It is a good sign.

One query - I am assuming that you are from India and would have gotten your DD from an Indian Bank. Did you call the bank to know that DD has been encashed? I got my DD from HDFC Bank and they told me that there is no way I can come to know when DD would be encashed.

Thanks

They committed 8-Jul but delivered early.

Question - You mentioned that your ECA report was ready on 21-Jun, what was the expected completion date mentioned to you earlier?

In my case the estimated completion date of ECA from WES is: July 14, 2014. The current status is still "Evaluation in Progress"

What was the original committed date for the evaluation to be ready...., mine is showing as 07/16..

Hi, I think you just need to contact the bank to ask them whether your DD IS debited or not, shouldn't ask them about when it would be charged because how they suppose to know, it is up to CIC :). Like my case, I called my bank almost every 2 days to ask them check if it had been debited or not, until on Jun 3 they confirmed to me that my DD had been debited, that's my way to get the info. Hope that help.
