Hmmmmm.
This look dicey.
I'm not a financial specialist....but it seems to me that your Job duties is more of NOC 1111 or NOC1112!
NOC0111 seems senior to your described duties.
It looks to me as a mis-matched NOC on your part......your Job duties would have perfectly fit in to other NOCs easily than NOC0111.
For NOC0111...the Job duties are of more supervisory role, maintaining of policies, coordination and so.
If NOC0111 is truly your NOC....you need to be more decisive and detailed in your letter of reference.
Cheers

Man, my palpitations shoot up. Crossing fingers, hands, legs, and everything.

Brother... your JD was really too short to assess... My consultant also suggested me to make it shorter because they get annoyed of reading too large JD at experience certificate. But I elaborated each and every task by transforming with standard sentence, though I dont know whether I'll accepted or rejected

You can do one thing... cover all the duties mention in the NOC and write same tasks just transforming those like me. Because I knew that the tasks mentioned in the NOC were covering all of my duties.. even I had more duties...

Analyzing your job duties.......
In his tenure he has performed below mentioned duties:
- Financial analysis and reporting --IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS NOC NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO...AND NOT TO REPORT.
- Creation and maintenance of financials (Annual revenue plan, rolling forecasts, monthly actuals)......THIS NOC DOESNT MAINTAIN BUT COORDINATE THE PREPARATION.
-Supervising audit and compliance...NOT SURE
- Maintenance and control of organization's General ledger...NOT SURE
- SOX audits at manufacturing facilities........---LOOKS LIKE YOU REPORT TO NOC0111
- Preparation and maintenance of account reconciliations...THIS LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY THAT REPORTS TO NOC011 NOT NOC0111 DOING IT
- Training and mentoring of new recruits/staff ------ THIS NOC DOES THIS TO MANAGEMENT STAFF...THIS SEEMS TO ME LIKE AN HR DUTIES WITH YOUR STATEMENT.

You need to check your duties out very well.....your duties seems to me that you are reporting to NOC0111 and not NOC111 as a person.
There are two things here....its eitehr you are getting your Job duties wrongly written as NOC0111 or you need to apply with another NOC that reports to NOC0111...e.g NOC1111 and NOC1112

Hi Friend,

First of all sorry for your incident. Good thing is that, you have received your returned package soon enough.I am hopeful you can meet the cap , if you send a fresh application.

Now I am not a Finance Expert, and presumably the person judging your application was also not a Finance Expert.

From a third point of view, your duties seems more like you are playing a second fiddle to someone senior to you in your Organization.

Ideally if you apply again you should go for NOC 1111 or NOC1112 in my opinion.

All the best!

Hi All,

Just wanted to confirm, on CIC website where they have disclosed the NOC cap update what do they mean
by Number of complete applications counted towards the 1,000 sub-cap

Is it number of application received or number of applications they have provided PER.

Surely not number of application received.

They said, number of completed applications. By this, they could meant application reviewed and all the forms and documents supplied and completed properly.

My application has been returned. I applied under NOC 0111 and it reached on May 7th. This is the return message:

"After review, your application does not meet the requirements of a complete application pursuant of Regulation (R) 10 of IRPA.

You have identified National Occupational Classification (NOC) code: 0111 - Financial Managers as the primary occupation to be assessed. All supporting documentation provided regarding this work experience history was taken into consideration. The employment letter from <My current organization> does not provide sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.

Therefore, I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC 0111 - Financial Managers

NOTE: Any reference to work experience in a NOC code other than the primary occupation identified on your application has not been assessed pursuant to R(10) of IRPA.

As your application does not meet the requirements of R(10) of IRPA, it is considered incomplete and is being returned to you for this reason"

PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT I CAN DO NEXT?

NOC 0111 cap is still far away from having been filled? Can I still get a more detailed letter from my organization explaining my duties in more elaboration which are in sync with how the essential duties are described in NOC website and re-send the application?

Hi everyone :)
According to the charts, it looks like CIC is charging fees / issuing PERs with a speed close to linear, so it makes a good base for estimates.
I've made the estimates - it's pure mathematics, without any guesses, based on the data we have in the spreadsheet. You can see them highlighted in yellow on the image below. They properly account for number of applications received on each particular day, work days / weekends, possible noise in the data, - everything to make the estimates as accurate as possible. Of course, there is this assumption that CIC processing speed is linear.

According to the estimates, it looks like PERs for May 6 applicants should start really soon, possibly tomorrow :)

Accuracy of the estimates significantly decreases for dates far into future, and even for close dates the estimate will probably be plus/minus a week or even more, but for those folks who are asking when CIC will start charging the fees / issuing the PERs, I believe, this estimate is as precise as we can possibly get at all, given the current data :)

(clickable)

Buddy , Can you please help me understand my Fee Charge and / PER issuance date ... App Received on June 3rd (2171)

I need you to analyse his Job duties with reference to his letter of reference and interested NOC.
This is your area of interest.....I analysed it as a neutral but trained case handling officer inside CIC.
Let us hear your opinion.......
