Yes you do, Otherwise it will be returned.

But in the fee payment form section A which is to be filled by DD holder does not contain sign space or sign box......it is asked only for Cerdit card payers....

Correct me if I am wrong???

Yes, if DD is chosen as an option then only Section A needs to be filled which do not contain any signature box. Hence no sign required.

can some body pls tell me the closing date to submit FSW application? and how long it will take ICAS to evaluate my transcript. they received my transcript today.
Thanks

I applied for assessment by ICAS, all my reqd documents were received on 30th April by ICAS and i was put in queue since then.

It was then through this group/forum (with the help of so many people of whom i am very thankful) that i came to know that WES takes only 10 days to complete its assessment uunlike ICAS which takes 6-8 weeks. So i applied for WES as well, got my assessment inside 2 weeks, completed my application and sent it on 11th!

I got my assessment report from ICAS just today, so you can imagine that. I saved 2 precious weeks time at the expense of just 300 CAD $
So if your NOC is hot, ill suggest you to apply for WES else wait for 6 weeks minimum time..

Good luck!

Hi ack1990

Which CGI did you receive the BC from ? And what is the title on the Certificate ?

Did you submit any other supporting documents along with it ?

Kindly advise.

Its from CGI Houston. I have sent no other supporting document with it. Title says "BIRTH CERTIFICATE" and nothing else. May be that is why, mine was accepted. Its says my DOB, parents name as per entries made on PP along with PP number.

To be on a safer side, I did sent my 10th certificate later with UCI number which I got with PER email. But this happened after they charged my credit card and sent PER. Not sure even now if it was added to my application.

I have a question... Someone mentioned that his file was returned last year due to CAP reach but he has UCI number... I guess when they return the file due to CAP reach UCI will not be given... Please confirm...

Also if UCI has been given in 2013 and someone has not mentioned it in 2014 form then will they be able to find the UCI using name and DOB.. or will they issue a new UCI..

UCI Stays the same after your first application. In the application that was returned to me for CAP. the UCI was hand written on the general application form.

Then what is the answer to my second question.. Will they be able to fetch the UCI from name and date of birth of last years application if someone has not mentioned it in current application..

Thats very interesting. I will check the CGI Houston site to see if there's anything different from CGI Dubai.

I will also visit the consulate and try to discuss this.

They will be able to match it based on DOB, last name and country of birth. I didn't put UCI number on my application. However, they assigned the exact same number that is on my canadian visitor visa.

Of course returned applications due to cap reached is also lotted UCI number. UCI number remains same for life time. It doesnot effect if you write UCI or not. CIC will issue you only one UCI.

Is my IELTS calculation right?

R 6.5, L 6.5, S7.5, W7.5 = 5+4+6+6=21 points. In the table it says L6.0=4 and 7.5=5. Whats the score for 6.5 and 7.0?

CGI Houston says 'Birth Certificate as per Passport'

CGI Dubai says 'Certificate of Birth as per entry in Passport'

Assuming that you were born in India, and no other supporting documents were submitted, I can't Imagine the 'terminology' used in the title would make the difference.

Also going by this post - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/may-2014-cecpr-applications-t198151.0.html;msg3248712#msg3248712 although its not clear which CGI was used to obtain the certificate, it is quiet clear that rejections have been made.

I think I am gonna have to go with the safest option here which seems to be an affidavit citing the error in the spelling with my current BC issued by my local municipality in India.

Can't think of another way which would get me some sleep at night.

If you do not include your spouse and children on your application you will never be able to sponsor them again in the future. This means that they will never be able to accompany you in the future.
