I forgot to say, I need to proof 6 years to get 15 points in order to get 67 minimum points to apply... That's why I need to know how many years I can use to apply with my work experience?

You get point for all the years, even if its not the NOC u r applying for, u get the pts once the NOC is on the list. Just make sure the NOC u r applying for, u have at least one yr experience. Also to qualify for those yrs, u need a job letter to show proof of your work experience from each employer.

I have all the job letters, I have the 1 year minimum, I just need to know if I can say that I have 6+ years of experience in order to receive 15 points in work experience criteria, because thats exactly what I need to be eligible... So, with that my experience, can I just add all months, even if it's all split in so many companies?

To the member who asked how many points he should claim for age:

It doesn't matter if you're 35 years and 1 day, 35.5 years, 35.9 years or 35.99 years old. As long as you haven't reached 36 years of age, you can claim 12 points.

Yes, that's fine as long as your reference letters support your exact period of employments.

NOC 4011......

what you guys think about the expected month of this category to get filled....

As i surveyed there are less number of applicants under this NOC......or may be they are silent visitors....or may be they are not aware of this forumss......

The weekend on this forum are like harsh winter (mostly Canadian in nature) ... waiting for the summer days when the CIC is working ...

Aaaah the wait is painful ... the best thing you can do ?

Celebrate with the people here and help out others who are going through the application process!!

Hi all... I am finalizing my application. I will be sending it on Monday. Based on the global spreadsheet, my NOC is not very hot, but i am still praying.

I just got my IELTS result, I know I only need 6 in all areas, so I know I passed. But can you give me the exact points for these please?
L- 8; S-7.5; W-7; R-7

Also,

1. When filling out forms using the computer, non-applicable areas are immediately "grayed-out" and you cannot type anything in the box. (Ex. when you check NO in questions like "do you have a national identity document?"; the next boxes which asks for document number, issue dates, etc. are grayed-out).
My question is, do I need to manually write "not applicable" in every box after I printed it?

2. Payment - my aunt who is in canada agreed to pay for my application fee using her credit card. She already gave me the info I need. In the payment form, there is a box that asks for the signature of the cardholder, is it okay if I just email her the filled-out form, she then prints and signs it, and send it back to me through email? Will this be acceptable?

3. Supplementary information of your travels form (IMM 5562) - should I include our scheduled future travel in September? Was thinking that when visa officer might request for original passports later and he might think that we have an undeclared travel.

4. Some of my documents are printed in legal size paper (longer than A4) like certificates from our local registrar, is this okay if not all of my documents are not printed in A4 paper?

5. Since some of my documents are printed in legal size paper, can I use a longer envelope? Or should I fold my documents and fit it in the specified size posted in the cic website Wich is "23 cm x 30.5 cm (9″ x 12″) envelope"?

Thank you so much! I would also appreciate a personal message since it's hard to track this thread because of the number of replies.

I believe the subcap (1000) will not be filled until the end, but the overall cap (25,000) will fill much before that. When ? nobody knows.
