As long as its IELTS( General Training), regardless from IDP or British Council, should be fine.

Thanks for the reply, confidant. So, BF'd is the acronym for the next date the local visa officer checks whether the applicant has submitted the requested documents? (which BTW is four months since the request date). Hope forum members read what you posted. Our forum members are a little panic prone - I hate to see them panic a couple of weeks after they submit the requested documents, thinking that the silence from their local VO means that there's a problem with their application.

You are right randev. We can directly attach the delay of processing with this. Suspicious applications are forwarded to Economic Class Unit (ECU) where they do intense screening of applications. These applicants usually get Back ground checks (physical, telephonic etc), additional docs requests, etc. Not all applications goes through ECU only some randomly selected and suspicious applications pass through this process.

Yeah I understood the forum members here are little panic. So my advice to the members here is to always send complete documents (supporting docs) to CIC to improve processing speed which they will understand after reaching to VO. ;D
