@moderators.

Can we have the tab for NOC wise Application received on a daily basis... similar to the one in FSW 2013 . file. Its is quite useful in understanding the Cap progress for each NOC

Hi everyone,

I've updated the "App Received date and # of days until fee is encashed" chart to also include # of days until PER and File Transfer.
Also it now shows "Today" line, for convenience.

It's now the second chart on the Charts sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit#gid=423739464

This really helps to visualize processing times and to see what and when to expect, given your App Received date.

Enjoy :)

Dear Experts,

The latest Generic Form [July 2014] is available on the CIC's website; so if I am to apply in June, 2014, should I have to chose July 2014 Form or the previous one [March 2014]?

Regards,

Raza

Hi Guys,

Please advise me.. I have got a letter issued by the bank stating that I have 13218 CAD in my account as on 28th May,2014. But the letter was dated as 17th June,2014. Is that ok to produce??

Could some body please respond to the above..

Just got my IELTS score and also WES evaluation. I thought I would barely be getting 6.0 or 6.5 band in IELTS(read about unfair scores given by IDP India as compared to British Council) but surprisingly the score is 7.5 and I get 23 points out of 24 !

So now need to hurry up to prepare application, particularly gathering work experience documents. My questions :

1. NOC 2173 vs NOC 2174 - I guess I qualify for both but NOC 2173 is relatively less crowded. The documentation to support the right one is the work experience document, correct ?

2. Birth certificates - Will the class X certificates be enough or an affidavit is required ? Further, the affidavit can be made in Delhi or it has to be in the city where I was born.

3. Caps - I saw the estimated cap filling dates in the spreadsheet and it says the estimated date for cap filling is July 31 for NOC 2174. But based on the forum posts, it looks like the caps should already be over. Any ideas ?

4. Job Offer - If it is suspected that the caps are most likely over, does it make sense to try to secure a job offer in the next 3 months and then submit the application. Or can I resubmit anther application in immediate future if I am able to secure a job offer ?

Hi

Please suggest what will be the duration if my work experience is

From : 2011 July

To : Present

Should i select 3 years but less than 4 OR 2 Years less than 3.

Its actually 3 years exactly.
You should also know that experience of 2 years and 3 years gives you same points of 11.
No worries then.
Cheers.!

Many Congrats Misha ! :)

Your DD must have been encashed ..you've lost every penny of 550 CAD$ :'(
and PER is on your waaaaaaay from Canada :-*

Misha123 said:
Congratulations on your PER! Do you know whether my status changing in ECAS means that my DD was encashed by CIC? I ask this as I have no way of tracking the status of my DD from Bangladesh.

Hello everyone!

I think I got some good news! I just randomly checked on ECAS with my UCI from last year and it said the following:

"We received your application for permanent residence on May 6, 2014."

What does this mean? After so many days of seeing "We were unable to recognize you.." this seems like a huge relief!

Hi Seniors,

I have name difference in my passport and educational document. I searched at few places and came to know that we need to do an affidavit for the same. Can someone please review below format :

AFFIDAVIT
ONE AND THE SAME PERSON
I, the undersigned, Mr. Surname ABC XYZsinh, aged XX years, XX by religion, residing at XX, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare on oath that:
1. I am the deponent herein and a citizen of XX.
2. I was born on Month XX, YEAR in XX, YY, India.
3. My birth name is Surname ABC XYZsinh.
4. It is customary in our region to add the tags such as 'sinh', 'bhai', 'kumar', 'lal' etc. for male first names for showing respect, while to add the tag 'ben' for female first names for the same purpose. This is similar to putting Mr., Mrs., Ms. etc. in front of the names in the U.S.
5. My father's first name was used as my middle name in most of my documents. The tag ‘sinh' or 'bhai' was interchangeably added in my father's first name.
6. Therefore, the following names refer to the one and the same person:
Surname ABC
Surname ABC XYZbhai
Surname ABC XYZsinh
Surname ABC XYZkumar
The above are the variations of the same name and should not be considered name changes.
So I do hereby solemnly affirm that foregoing are true and correct statements.
Place: Singapore ---------------------
Date: June 19, 2014 DEPONENT

Thanks in advance.

Can someone please help on above?

Wondering what makes 7th May so loaded. Probably the fact that the average in-transit time for applications was ~4days (from Subcontinent). Most of the people in this forum must have sent their application on Saturday (3rd May) which reached CIO 4 days later (7th May).
Most applicants waited till 1st may,2014 to see if there would be change.
it seems to me most sent application packages on 2nd/3rd which is why there is high turnouts on 7th and 8th on this forum.
Cheers.!

Regarding work experience,

jobs less then one year can be counted or not?

for example if i work in one hospital as MO for six months n in other hospital for seven months? will it be considered as 13 months or not??its full time paid n in noc list

please guide..

thanks

1) If your EMS is trackable with number and needs signature on delivery then courier address is required.
2) Since you have already sent your application, there is nothings wrong. Just stay calm your application will end up reaching right hands.
It's trackable but no need for signature
But many people said EMS consider as a courier and it was sent to to regular mail address
May it reason for rejection or return it back
?
