NO. Last year I submitted through DHL and this year at least hundred of our forum submitted through DHL. Being a reputed company, they are not supposed to do it.

I know DHL and this is not the first time i use their service,they are highly reputable company.
I am only asking about the third party thing only.

In work Experience question : I can fill the year of employment, but not able to fill month....any idea ?

After filling year, through mouse, click into month field. Then you can give entry for month.

While the efforts of all members, especially senior experienced ones can not be appreciated enough, for helping out over each and every tiny detail, but it pains to see exactly same (or similar questions) being repeated over and over again.

If possible, shouldn't there be an effort to pen down all the major things (BC, ECA, PCC etc) each in a separate thread with the first post of each such thread containing all the information needed. One specialist each could be assigned to do the honors. Further questions (if any) can then be asked in that specific thread. All these threads (each of BC, ECA, PCC etc) could then be hyperlinked in a main thread with title, say FSW 2014 Application Preparation, or something on those lines.

Just a suggestion to save everyone's time, as well as save this thread from swelling like a horny toad's throat.

Total applications received towards the overall cap : 157 of 25,000

Above is the current status at CIC, which is obviously a tiny fraction. Then why the hysteria about CC/DD (Credit Card/Demand Draft) charge ? (no pun intended)

Is it just because the applicants are unsure of their application being complete (and hence fear of no CC/DD charge), or that this cap is going to fill at a exponential rate (and hence the hurry) ?

Or that I am completely missing something here.


PS: The following note at the same CIC page saying

Note: Due to the large number of applications we get, we cannot check that each one is complete on the same day it gets to the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but are only a guide. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it gets to the Centralized Intake Office.

does suggest though that it might be the case of exponential rate, or a pseudo-exponential because of CIC having a big back-log before they started looking at these applications.

Exactly what you wrote. CC/DD charge is an early indication that your application was complete and that you appear eligible and is a 99% indicator of PER.

Oops I did one mistake, I have already submitted by application since myself and spouse are not having birth certificate I have produced Affidavit. Affidavit is framed and stated by myself and my spouse respectively that we didn't have birth certificate as our parents failed to register it. Will it impact my application as I didn't taken Affidavit from our parents?
Seniors plz advice.

A small confusion...do we need to write the name of the document checklist equivalent on the copies provided ...for eg. Should we write 'Identity civil status document' on top of the copies of birth certificate, marriage certificate..? so that it is identified properly..?

You could do that but it's not necessary. I used numbered tabs corresponding to each section of the document checklist.

Don't be bothered about the third party (if its true that they are using third party). They are the one who hires them. They qualify subcontractors who will execute the job on their behalf. You as a client should know about DHL only and DHL will manage their subcontractors. DHL is answerable to you whether the fault comes from the subcontractor or DHL itself. I am not talking in behalf of DHL but I am just explaining a good practice of subcontracting where a reputed company normally do...which I believe DHL is doing..So relax now. I used DHL as well. And the agent told me that the area could be remote so they gave me an estimate of 5 working days. But it reached after on 4th day..

I have one more doubt -
After the app is transferred to local VO, if the applicant goes on to study in another country, ho will the local VO coordinate with him/her? Also in the final stages one needs to submit the passport for PR, but a person already abroad cant do so? What will happen then?
