Hello Senior members - I have an Urgent issue I need someone to help me with:

My First name in my Class 10 and Birth Certificate is NISHES

My First name in ALL OTHER Documents including PP is NISHESH

My birth certificate is in English and this is the ONLY mismatch in the documents.

I am currently based in the UAE alongwith all my family members. I am citizen of India by birth.

Can someone please advise what can I do as a short term fix ?

Please Advise !

What do you mean by Short Term Fix?

Guys please advise. Is there an alternate to birth certificate which is accepted by CIC??

Thanks.

Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows in CIC's own words when communicating an applicant:

"We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

So 10th standard school certificate or an affidavit containing applicants name, date of birth and Parent/Parents name should be fine in lieu of a birth certificate. Also you must give reason in a cover letter why you were not able to provide birth certificate and that you are providing 10th standard school certificate / affidavit in lieu of birth certificate."

I kept 10th marksheet which ve my name, initial & DOB.

Also kept affidavit xerox copy only for place of birth & parents name, As given by parents.. Driving license also.

I don't know will it be accepted or returned.

Do we need to provide an Affidavit backed up by Class 10 Marksheet or will the affidavit suffice in itself ?

I do have a BC in English but there is a spelling mismatch in only the FIRST name between BC and PP.

What can I do ?

I have a question,as our birth certificates ( for me & my spouse) are written by my native language, I translated it into English by a translation office ( not governmental) and I attached both ( original translated copy stapled with original birth certificate ). that will be acceptable by CIO?

Hi Friends,

I am a newbie here and would like to network with people who are applying under FSW. Our code is NC 0112 for Human Resources Managers. We are not planning on getting a consultant as we are being charge C$2800. The amount is quite costly and we could already add that one to the Settlement Funds which in our case is like almost $25000 as we have 3 kids. We gather the documents alone and with a little help from some friends. We already produced most of them except for the ECA and IELTS. My question po is, with regard to ECA, can we already process for the ECA while preparing for other docs? I believe the ECA is included in the checklist. Are they cases that ECA are even the first to arrive in the VAC before the application itself? We are also taking the IELTS anytime soon :D Appreciate any feedback :-D Warm Regards to everyone!

You can start your ECA now. The report will be sent to you. You need to include the original report in your application.

It is not likely CIC classify NOCs for charging, Im sure its First-come, first-served basis no matter the NOC

Hi Nikoniko.

Even I thought the same but since few days it was NOC based.
My application was of 7th may recieved at 9.45 am.
So I would hav been charged first for 7th may but it didnt happen.
Noc 2174, 2173, 1112 which r hot Nocs of 7th may got charged 2 days ago which were recieved at around 12 pm or 1pm.
So today they started to review 4011 NOCs.
Still Nothing can be commented on CIC process.

We just have to wait patiently as I did for almost 2-3 years..& finally got the result just now.
Best of luck all.
