Thanks Milansaha . So if I have experience related to NOC like 6 years back , wont I be eligible to apply under that NOC ?

The reply that you have received from Milansaha is wrong. You should have worked at least 1 year in last 10 years in your selected NOC.
Here is what CIC websites says:
We will only process your FSW application if you have:

◦at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 edition of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC)
ANDat least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience ◦in a single occupation,
◦within the last 10 years,

1.You have this work experience in one of the eligible occupations,
OR

2.You have a valid offer of arranged employment,
OR

3.You are an international student who is enrolled in a PhD program in Canada (or who graduated from a Canadian PhD program within the past 12 months) and meet these criteria.

For Indian Applicants :

You can use your PF amount also as proof of funds.
Earlier it was difficult to get the details of the PF fund.
Now you can go to EPFO website and generate a PF passbook in PDF format which is digitally signed .
It has EPF logo and other details also, hence is eligible as a proof of funds.

Hi

Do you have any supporting information on this?? I believe that EPF is not liquid and is locked there with certain period. Therefore, it is not unencumbered as required by CIC.

@mehul1313

Although i have no info of indian EPF, but usually there is certain portion which is vested. You can use it as part of your liquid funds (especially if its shown in different tiers, otherwise just attach the vesting policy and mention how much is available to you if u leave today)

These labels are for CIC in case they decide to return your application!! You should get the labels for official language of the country which you have mentioned as address of mailing communications. If it is UAE, it should be Arabic.

Thanks to everyone who took time in responding to my query.

Going by the responses I believe 1 Label in English and 1 Label in Arabic would be the ideal way, although I will keep the postal code (numerical) in English.

I hope that it would be okay.

You are right...atleast it won't fill up by 7th!

Totally agree Kollins.
On another note, I tried to analyse the first cap updates and I cannot but help deem that the apps received were from 1st and 2nd may. Any thoughts?

Well, as far as I know, EPF can be withdrawn fully only if you leave the company. You may get the amount in hand after at least 2-3 months. So not sure whether CIC considers it as liquid or not. Maybe we can have idea if someone in previous batch (2013) has shown this in proof and got through!
