As you are a big hero of 2013 FSWP, I would highly appreciate if you could enlighten me with your answer to the following question: How many working days it took the NOC 2174 to be capped in 2011 race? I guess it was 5 or 7 working days! I guess 2174 was the fastest to close, wasn’t it?

The reason I am asking this, because this year, as you know, a lot of applicants are ready with their files, so, more or less, it is quite like 2011 race in the sense of that many applicants had little required effort/ documents to pay/prepare in order to apply and I guess the sub-cap in 2011 was 1000 applications and it is the same this year. I sent this year my package for the NOC 1112 and it reached the CIO on the 7th of May which is the fifth working day since they open this year on the 1st of May 2014.

I think you can get it made from some other bank as well, usually banks take cash and make DD although fee in this case is higher.

Btw how u plan to have your brother's signature (who is in USA) on application, as CC holder signature are required on application?

Send him the payment form. He is gonna send it.

When I say, I could hear back from CIC for PER (or DD encash) at end of this week (13th June) if my application reached on 9th May for 2174.
Am i anticipating correctly? Suggestions?

I have a query ,

My Job reference letters are an year old.

So far I changed 3 companies.

So does it mean I need to contact all my current and previous organisation for the same ?

I am sure this time they will not issue the same , as even last time I faced lots of difficulties to get the job reference letters.

Please advise what should I need to do.

ALso Just to add, I want to update the responsibilities with my previous employers , I feel anxious as I know they won't entertain this .

Please help and advise at the earliest would be really thankful to u.

If you already got your reference letters from your past employers where all your job details and other information is given, then you don't need to get a latest dated one.

For updating the responsibilities with my previous employers, follow the below:
1. If your supervisor/HR don't want to give you experience letter, try to get it someone senior to you within your department;
2. If point 1 fails, try to get it someone from your colleagues of your department; ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
3. If point 2 fails, try to get it someone/two from you colleagues of your company;ensure giving full contact details along with the visiting card.
4. If point 3 fails, then go for self attested/notarized affidavit;
Note: The lower option you reach, the higher the risk for non-acceptability.

For all of the above cases, explain in cover letter, why you are not able to get the experience letter from your supervisor/HR. Also ensure providing appointment letter, promotion letter, increment letter, and pay slips.

I had the same issue.
Then I made DD from HDFC bank, it doesn't requires your passport provided u have account with HDFC.

Our friend Bijoy is probably from Bangladesh so HDFC might not be an option for him. Sorry Bijoy, if we have confused you rather than provide the help you needed. Yes in India, HDFC, ICICI etc. (private banks) all are pretty straightforward in issuing the DD. LOL these days I stay away from nationalized/ government banks for such request. The government banks anyway have a lot of unnecessary paperwork requirements, reminding one of how things might have been in the pre-independence era. :'(

I have the following two lines in the experience letter from my company. Kindly suggest which of the NOCs (2171, 2173, 2174) is more suitable for me.

• Gather, document and analyze the user requirements at client site
• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Applications in JAVA EE(J2EE)

You are right brother. My country do not have HDFC. I tried from Standard chartered Bank.

It is suitable for 2173 and 2171. However I suggest please do not submit it as atleast you should match 70 to 75% JD with NOCs roles and responsibilities mentioned.. Below one will not be passed as there are only 2 sentences.. Kindly make it another one or you may take a print out of your reference letter via word doc and obtain signature of our manager or lead and attach a business card.. It will be okay..

If your application is well packaged...I assure you that you will be in the cap this year regardless of histories os past years....7th of May,I'm confident you will be in if you scale through other factor.Jigzy confirmation of your request will only wet your pants the more and create unnecessary pressure on you.
The last updates have 39 already in your NOC...and i'm sure the next update will not jump from 39 to 1000 received/completed applications.
YOU ARE FINE with your received application of 7th May,2014.

If getting a DD made is turning out to be a nightmare go with what your gut feeling says. CC might work just fine for you as it has for many others. I'll pray for you. Best wishes!

As far i know, You will get the point for whole of the years of experience. For this you have to provide experience letters from all organizations. But, You have to work in the related profession for last 2 years in the NOC you are going to apply. Hope this helps you to be clear.

Thanks Milansaha . So if I have experience related to NOC like 6 years back , wont I be eligible to apply under that NOC ?
