I also have some doubts for translated documents.. Is there something called certified translator..? If yes, certified by who??

If i go to an English teacher who knows both languages, can he translate the documents and give affidavit??

From my reading of the official web materials, i feel that this should be possible.

Can any expert give his opinion..?

yes there are certified translators in kuwait and after they translate the documents, we got them certified by the ministry of justice and foreign affairs (i think this is equivalent to affidavit here) but i was just told that i might need to get the stamp of canadian embassy on it.

thats why im confused :(

I donot think this all is required.... if you get it translated and get attested by notary public or commissioner of oath, thats enough..

if a registered, authorized translator does it for you, then affidavit from the translator is required..

But where CIC has mentioned that we need certified translator for translation in application for FSW.. I could not find it on CIC web.. Can you send me a link pls??

I thought that translation can be done by anybody who has some formal education in English and who can give affidavit.. and he should not be a family member..?

Hi All,

I have applied for 2174 via payment mode DD. My application reached CIC on 9th May14. I have seen that spread sheet is still on 5th May and larger number of application received in second week (5th MAy to 9th May).
What are probable chances of getting PER for application of 9th may?

That is a dumb question to ask. There is no astrologer sitting here that can tell you the chances of getting PER. Wait and watch until your turn comes up and you will know in due time. :-)

Dumb questions deserve a similar answer. Sorry if you are offended (not trying to offend you though), but I am speaking the truth.

On questions like these, another dumb person will come forward and answer based on pure speculation (and his/ her imagination), and then three others will pop-up and say he/ she is wrong. So why ask such irresponsible questions in the first place to create further confusions.

If you have to get the PER you will, if not then you won't. That is how it will be for all of us, whether we like it or not. Peace!

Good morning everyone........

My application was received by CIC office canada on 28th may 2014.

my query is that i have mentioned CC as payment method. and since my Credit card is new , its max limit is 50,000 rs. i applied for limit enhancement and bank is delaying the process.
will my application be rejected if CC is not able to get charged?

just transfer some cash to your credit card.. it will be considered advance payment.. and your credit card limit automatically will increase..

its on the first page of the checklist, in the 3rd paragraph
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf
its mentioned that they need notarized(certified) translation , but i think it depends on each country how it is done
hope this helps you

Document Checklist at the top.
Last two pages containing barcodes of your generic form next.
Use the the document checklist to determine the arrangement of other forms.
Cheers.
Hi,
Where can you see the instruction that the last two barcodes of the generic form should be next? Which comes first, the one with the signature or the one with pure barcode page? Thanks.

Press Ctrl+F, type your ID in the box, and press enter. You will move into your name field of the spreadsheet.

My application NOC code 2174 reached the CIC and was collected by mike on 12th May. I had given DD as mode of payment. I scanned through the forum and it seems that only people who submitted the application by 5th or 6th have been charged till now. I checked with my bank and they said there is no way to check whether the DD has been encashed or not from their end. Will i get an email or notification if my dd has been encashed or will i get notified only when i get a file number ?

Also, i there any chance of my application missing the CAP ?

BTW this is my first post on the forum . :)
Welcome.
if your application is successful, you will get an email notification for positive eligibility review....but you wont get email notification for encashment of your DD.
Cheers.

What i would do is if they dont increase my limit, i would would put an extra INR 50,000 on to my credit card. Thereby making my withdrawal limit to INR 1,00,000.00 (50,000 Credit & 50000 advance deposit)
Confirm with your bank though before doing that.

Hope it helps

1. Do we need to attach copy of signature page of passport?
2. I am claiming points for my brother who is a PR holder. The problem is his name on the birth certificate (issued by the hospital) is incorrect. Secondary school documents do not have fathers name. However, fathers name is mentioned on Passport, National ID card and his marriage contract. It I attach these three, will it be enough evidence for proof of relationship?

Right.. There is a difference between certified translator and a public notary.. In India, getting by Notary is easier i believe..

At last, located it. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Century for your efforts to trace the post.

In this case he seems to have missed crucial documents. My ray of hope is that I missed trivial info and they might consider my first app itself. Also in the case you have mentioned, it's just the member's guess that he was placed in the later queue but the fact could be that he was in the earlier queue but his CC charging got delayed as they were trying to verify his details and trying to reconcile. As you can see, I am trying to pep myself up :-)

I have also read in 2013 forum multiple posts where their follow up packages were not considered at all.

@Thanks neel-here bro for trying to show the other side of the coin
