Hi,

I have following qualification:

SSC : Matriculation : 10 years of education
Total = 10

HSC : Intermediate : 2 years
Total = 12

B.Sc (Stats & Computer): 2 years
Canadian Equivalency: Diploma (2 years)
Total = 14

MCS (Masters in Computer Science): 2 years
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelors degree (4 years)
Remarks: This equivalency of this credential is stated in conjunction with above B.Sc degree.
Total =16

So, in Generic Form IMM0008ENU_2D I mentioned Highest Level of Education = Bachelors degree

What should I mention in Schedule A form under "Type of certificate or diploma issued" column for
1. B.Sc
2. MCS

I think in Generic Form you may mention to MCS, however, you will earn only Bachelor Degree points

One thing to know...

If I fill my all the form in 29th may, and if my package reached CIC office on 15th June, will that be a problem for CIC?

No, unless if any documents have been changes/ updated before shipping date

As long as your passport is valid when you apply you're fine. The letter explaining you are renewing is a good idea though.

I called the office again and the passport still not available im tempted to submit my old passport (Aug 2014 expiry) then just re-submit the copy of the new one... im losing hope that I will reach the cap for 2172. :(

Hi Friends,

Is there any updates on CC/DD charged after 6th May for NOC 2174?

I have checked in xls sheet as well but there is no updates for this NOC
and no updates in forums as well. :(

Hi!
I need some clarification on my experience. How much point I will get?
I have in total 3 year 8 months experience but there is no category for that. seems to me that it will fall under 11 points. Really it is or else what?

On the Generic form current occupation should be your current occupation title and intended occupation should be the specific NOC title . Hope it helps.

On generic form my husband wrote--

current occupation: Software Developer (His actual job title is Senior Software Developer)
Intended occupation : Software Developer (instead of NOC tilte)

His CC have been charged . Is there any possibility that he wont get PER for this ????

It looks that CIC officers have just started to CC 6th May applications yesterday. Be patient, they are proceeding much faster than FSW 2013

You are in the right track, don't worry

1. The guide contains links to all the current documents.

2. You only need ECA for highest qualification. You can also get ECA for other qualifications and not for your highest one if you think it will take too long, but you'll get fewer points. I think M.Sc. is higher than B.Pharm.? If so don't worry about the B.Pharm.
3. I don't know what you mean by that one. All documents should be submitted together in one package except police certificates which can be submitted later.
4. It should be reasonably current but even a current statement will do, a 3 month history is not really necessary.

Hi friend,

Just wanted to make sure. I have a Masters Degree and a Bachelors Degree too. So is it mandatory to get both the degrees assessed for CIC?? I already have a positive evaluation done by WES on my Masters Degree. Do I still have to get my Bachelors Degree assessed?? Are you sure on this issue. Am a bit confused on this because I am filing the application myself and I didtnt find information on the website which clearly states that only highest degree possessed is needed to be evaluated.

Please clarify my issues if u know. Appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Many congrats !!
PER is on your way :)
