For those whose CC has been charged, can you tell the forum whats the vendor name on the charge? Is it Citizenship Immigration Canada or Receiver General of Canada or CIC or some other?

It may help folks to reach out to their issuing banks and ensure that vendor is in safe list. May help reduce instances of CC declines due to fraud algorithms that sometimes will decline based on a large new foreign currency transaction.

My CC was charged by CITIZENSHIP&IMMFSWSYDNEYNSCA

Congratulations to your friend buddy ! :)

Thanks for your answer. +1 to you.

what if name is too big to incorporate in the space left over, should I need to use additional page to write name in native language? One more thing, signature should be the initial of the person or name in full?

Use additional page. Write in the following way

Name of the Applicant:
DoB:
Name of Principal Applicant: (in case your spouse is filling)
DoB of principal Applicant;
Passport Number;
Passport Number of Principal Applicant
Additional Family Information: Form IMM5406

Writing Names in Native Language

Section A
Table
Name Relationship Name in native language

Section B
Table
Name Relationship Name in native language

Section C
Table
Name Relationship Name in native language

I declared that the information contained in this document is complete, accurate, and actual.

Signature
Full name of applicant Date

One thing to know...

If I fill my all the form in 29th may, and if my package reached CIC office on 15th June, will that be a problem for CIC?

Hi all,
I'm new to this interesting forum. I just sent my app package & it should be received at the CIC office today! (Wed 04 Jun 14)

1- Could you please advise the timeline I should be expecting? (e-mail from CIC, CC charge, request for medical, etc..)

2- I will be moving to another country within few weeks as a permanent temporary resident for 2 years. When should I inform CIC of this change?

3- I will have a baby on Sep-14, when should I inform CIC & would that affect my app processing time?

Thanks all

1. CC Charge in about 30-45 Days, E-Mails from CIC could vary based on the progress of your application.
2. (If you receive your PER) Intimate CIC, as soon as you move.
3. Congratulations, Intimate CIC after the baby is born.

Lastly, have a safe stay in Australia :)

You Must change it to your target NOC dear !
(dont bother about the waste of printouts)

On the Generic form current occupation should be your current occupation title and intended occupation should be the specific NOC title . Hope it helps.

Hi,

I have following qualification:

SSC : Matriculation : 10 years of education
Total = 10

HSC : Intermediate : 2 years
Total = 12

B.Sc (Stats & Computer): 2 years
Canadian Equivalency: Diploma (2 years)
Total = 14

MCS (Masters in Computer Science): 2 years
Canadian Equivalency: Bachelors degree (4 years)
Remarks: This equivalency of this credential is stated in conjunction with above B.Sc degree.
Total =16

So, in Generic Form IMM0008ENU_2D I mentioned Highest Level of Education = Bachelors degree

What should I mention in Schedule A form under "Type of certificate or diploma issued" column for
1. B.Sc
2. MCS

Thanks bethar for swift response.

1- Would I get my CC charged before I get any e-mail confirmation about the app package received??
2 & 3- How can I inform CIC of anything?

How do you know I am moving to Australia?? :)

I am not using any agent / representative.. however, i am in a different country from my home country..

Should i mention my brother's name as the representative.. so that he can submit documents or talk to CIC if required..?

Will i be able to change this name in future if required..?

Thanks,

1. Yes, CC charge first , Communications later :D
2. Suggest you check this at the time of intimation coz mail id's could vary/change based on your VO , a common mail id for communication at this point is centralized-intake-office @ cic.gc.ca , i guess another ID fsw-centralized-intake-office @ cic.gc.ca should also work, just quote your file number.

Regards, to Australia am in a similar frame of mind, so that's a wild guess
