Hi Guys,

WES didn't accept the transcripts that I sent and asked for them again. I am from India. I got the photocopies notarized by the Registrar and then they put them in the sealed envelope and handed it to me. I then sent it to WES. When I log into my account and check the status it says "University-Issued Mark Sheet To be sent directly to WES in the manner specified for this country". But, in the letter I received they mentioned there are two ways and #2 is what I did. So, how exactly am I supposed to send the transcripts? The site says one thing and letter says another.

I would like to know from the Applicants from India - how did you send your transcripts? Have they been accepted by WES?

But when most people sent a harsh email to recheck then things got fine. Try contacting them on the WES "Contact Us" link and ask to reconfirm what is the specific issue.

Hmmmm....i believe the transcripts should go to them directly from the university and not from you. Only the certificates should come from you. It is stated in their website.

Can anyone of you advise on the following:

I am with my current company for 2 years and 3 months now. During this period I have worked in two positions for the same company:

1: Regional IT Business Systems Specialist for 1 year and 8 months
2: Country IT Business Systems Specialist for 7 months

As the job titles suggest, both roles have similar responsibilities, I just extended my scope a bit and both should be fine for 2171. The criteria for work experience says though that each full-time job with one year plus experience will be considered for points in the experience part.

Hence,my question: Will they consider the experience that I gathered from my second job or not? If this cannot be said for sure, would you suggest me to ask my employer not to split between those two roles and simply state "IT Business System Specialist" with an experience of 2 years and 3 months?

Please advise.

WES website says below statement as well,

You may have photocopies of your original mark sheets attested and dated by the Controller of Examinations or Registrar’s Office. Please request for the attested photocopies to be placed in an official sealed envelope and have the envelope returned to you to forward to WES.

Someone I know wants to apply for NOC 1111 but ECA is awaited from WES. Till when do experts estimate (conservative estimate) that NOC 1111 will last?

There is no definite timeline anyone can give you. but i think you would be safe for another 15-20 days considering this is a new NOC, apply asap my friend dont wait

If you havnt...try to use black pen.

It is quite strange thing happened with me.
I rechecked my forms and documents 5 times before sending.
After sending the package, I still found 4-5 silly misses (by god grace not major one to get back the courier ).
Thanks to anxiety and excitement otherwise I am not that much error prone ;D

I'm yet to send documents to WES for ECA evaluation. Can I change the delivery address to my friend's canadian address ? So that I can send all other documents to him and later he can attach ECA report in the package and directly send to CIC ?

Has anyone tried this before ?

Hi Kollin,

Though you answered the question, but here's the same question but a little more specific

I have a question on my eligibility. I am planning to apply under NOC 1123. I have an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I don't have a university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter, which is usually required.

I do have an Advanced Certificate in Marketing, which is a part time 1 year course and does have related subjects.

I do have a paid experience of 1 year 6 months in one of the NOC 1123 profiles though.

Am I eligible?

Please advise.
