Urgent Help needed from forum. I have 4 years of experience as self-employed in last 10 years. What documents should I submit to points for those years. In the checklist its written "documents from 3rd part individual(s) indicating the service provided along with payment details" so my question is whos the 3rd party and what kind of document do I need to get from them. I have my firm's IT returns for those times but I am not getting what actually they are asking for work exp as self employed. Its there in Note in checklist for FSW. Please I do need help on this issues ASAP. Anyone showing self employed exp this year or last year or having any insight into this issue do reply on this issue. WHo's 3rd party? I have been network technician as self employed. What I need to provide? Early reply needed for I need to complete my application. Thanks in Advance

I don't know about this specifically but if you feel your credential was assessed inaccurately you can contact WES to explain to them and they may correct it.

Hi.. I tried contacting WES but I do not get any reply. Their auto-mail says that they may not be able to reply due to the large numbers of queries and applications.

What should I do?

A quick question.

I am in the process of applying, but I might have to move out of my current place in a month's time. That means my address will change.

My question therefore, is that does the CIC, or the VO contact the applicants (during the evaluation process) by regular post, or everything is done through email (which I would love).

Regards

If for any reason your application gets rejected, there will be no email communication. Your application package will be sent to the return label that you had provided with your application.

So you would want to keep some contact at your current place of residence, as all the originals that you had submitted as part of your application will be sent to your current address(i mean the address that you had sent in your application)

great!! if your CC is charged ..certainly your BC certificate has been accepted as if now otherwise your file would be returned to you..

Please update the Fee en cashed date in the entry sheet that will list your entry in "green" color

kwelCanada is right.... if payment is charged it means you are all set. no need to worry abt birth certificate rejections.

can someone confirm the correct immigration Office requested for processing this application field

I am working in Alberta and sending my application from Alberta
Nationality : India
My temp work permit is valid untill 2016
Is CPC - Ottawa the correct one ?

it could be because you sent it to the PO BOX address and you only send it there if you used regular mail. if via courier, you should have sent it here:

Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
NOC Category, Offer of Arranged Employment category or PhD category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: XXXX
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

zac989,
is it required for everyone to write "Offer of Arranged Employment category or PhD category"..... even if they dont hv a work offer and/or not part of PhD category.
What should be the address in that case??
should it be just "NOC Category"??

Just apply for FSWP under Licensed practical Nurse category NOC 3233
You are not qualified to apply for Registered Nurse category NOC 3012, you go ahead and apply as RN ,you application will rejected

My application will be rejected when I apply for Registered nurse? So does that mean all registered nurses with only 14 years of education will be rejected even if we passed our country's board exam?

Also, this contradicts my letter of reference from my employer since my job title as well as all my duties and responsibilities is that of a "registered nurse". Also, as per NOC site, my job matches perfectly of that of 3012-registered nurse.

Any advice?

IMO, your ok with NOC Registered Nurse as long as majority of your duties matches that NOC. As per CIC website:

If the description and list of main duties match what you did at your last job(s), you can count this experience for points.

I need some guidance in deciding the right category for myself.

I have done Mechanical Engineering from an Indian university.

In work experience, i have 3 yrs of experience in technical field + 5 yrs of experience in Purchasing.

Can somebody suggest which category i should apply for..?

Do they consider the category based on degree OR experience..?

Nobody knows how they will decide about the convertibility and ability to withdraw the funds. It is the applicant's responsibility to demonstrate the required settlement funds in a liquid and unencumbered state. Most likely, if they are concerned they will ask you to provide further details.

I also don't know whether what you have shown is sufficient. It depends on whether (and to what extent) the PFs can be liquidated and withdrawn as you please. If you could provide details then I could give an opinion.
Thanks for reply
Normally 50% to 80% of available balance can be withdrawn during your service ,as per requirement at any time and 100% can be withdrawn if you leave the job.
Now the question is weather they accept PF balance as settlement fund?
If not , what will happen?

Hi,

My application was received on the 15th of May. I just noticed that the Birth Certificate of my wife has the wrong date of birth. She is my dependent. Can this cause a rejection.

Thanks

sir ,

You don't have to worry about it , the cause of rejection are only if

1) the forms are not completely filled and not signed.
2) all supporting documents are not enclosed.
3) and u do not meet the minimum and the points criteria for few.

Hello,

to Which email ID they send the PER. As i submitted DD, i cant track with CC charged date.

My application received on 12th May 2014.

Thank you!

So what would be the proof? Does the DHL receipt suffice?

Yes, DHL receipt is fine. You may also add a copy of your WES report and mention in cover letter what this WES ECA is all. Also, attach e-mail printouts from WES.

U need the FBI+Indian PCC...U can submit those once ur file has transferred to New Delhi...(u will rcv an acknowledgement )

"From: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp

"Applicants should provide a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) certificate with fingerprints. State certificates may also be requested. The Visa Office will advise you if state certificates are required in your case.

How and where do I obtain one?

You should:
-get a cover letter and fingerprint card from the FBI. You can download these from the FBI website or write to the address below and have them mailed to you.
-have fingerprints taken. You can have this done by:
-a local police department or
-a private fingerprinting business.
(When you have your fingerprints taken, you will need photo identification.)

include a Certified cheque or money order for the fees, payable to the U.S. Treasury
mail the letter, fingerprints and fee payment to:

FBI, Criminal Justice Information Services Division
Attention: SCU, Mod D-2
1000 Custer Hollow Road
Clarksburg, West Virginia 26306
U.S.A.

Processing times are normally between 16 and 18 weeks. The FBI will send you a letter with the results of their record check. That letter will be your police certificate. You should send the letter and any attached documents to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada office processing your file. All police certificates must be originals. Photocopies will not be accepted by our office. "

It takes around 4-6 weeks to come back.

Finger printing agency are normal private organizations who will help you take your finger prints in to the Form.

Then you send that form to FBI, USA. For the Return address, I also think in the form, you should use the address of a friend/family in USA or Canada. Because It may take weeks to come back to India. If you ask FBI to deliver it to a USA or Canadian address, it will be faster. Once your family/friends receive your report from FBI, they can forward it to CIC, with your Name, Date of Birth, Application File Number etc.
