IELTS Results for test date 10 May 2014

We are sorry to announce that due to technical issues, some IELTS results for the IELTS test date on 10 May will be delayed. As a result of the technical problems candidates will not be able to receive a Test Report Form on Friday 23 May. We know how important your results are to you and we apologise for any inconvenience this will cause. Please be assured that we are working on a resolution as a matter of urgency. We thank you for your patience and results will be issued as soon as possible.

I believe that results have been already appeared. I took my academic IELTS exam on 10/5/2014 for studying purposes and the results were delayed until 26/5/2014 and I already received my TRF on 27/5/2014

Hey,

Can someone confirm about this -

Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not.

I mentioned 1 since i am applying just for myself, should i mention 4 including me, my brother and father, mother even if they are not applying ? None of them are dependent on me.

If i mention 4, the application does not validate, it asks for all the information about 3 other members.

What am i doing wrong here.

So PCC from FBI is sufficient, or do i have to get PCC from state police too!

Nope brother...Only FBI report is enough...:)

Thanks for the nice reply +1 for that, i also am of the same opinion but i have seen some cases rejected in 2013 fsw after charging CC

You are right dear... Some applications were rejected last year after charging the CC and without issuing PER.... But was very few in number... The reasons were PA did not provide reference letter from the current employer, WES categorized institute under non recognized etc....

Your family members represent your dependent persons like your wife, kids and parents only if they are dependents on you. So, in general for your case. Your family number is 1 (You only)

Dear Bro,

brother and father, mother does not include on ur app...

So it seems one family member in ur case...

Also can u please share a bit for which form u are talking about?

@ snowrain

Did u listed several NOC's in 12.a or 12.b

If you listed several in 12.b but ONLY ONE in 12.a YOU ARE GOOD to GO.

But mostly applications with more than one NOC in 12.a get rejected. The proof is list of last year rejection reasons. However, only few (1 or may 2) applicants have reported that reviwer/VO crossed out all but one NOC and accepted the application.

I'm afraid I specified several NOCs in either sections. Well, come what may. I'll make my contribution by sharing the outcome. Thanks.

I am the principal applicant but the bank accounts were named after my husband. Do you think its ok?

It is fine but if ur marriage got over recently or if you dont have kids after long years of marriage it is better you send some marriage and outing photos also along with marriage certificate.... else it could cause unnecessary delay in your processing once it reaches to the VO.....

Hi, the FBI is a Federal organisation covering the entire country. The PCC from them is sufficient, you dont need another from state police.

Good luck. ;)

Talking about the generic form where it states in Q3 - Indicate number of total family members included in this application.

Since i am applying for myself only, i mentioned 1.

Should i mention 4 here ?

Also, if i do not state them here, can i sponsor them at later stage or not ?

I am single, have a brother, father and mom.

AlSO READ THIS SOMEWHERE.

You must include all your family members in your application for permanent resident status, even if they do not want to come to Canada with you. Family members who are not listed in your application cannot be sponsored by you at a later date.

You and your family members can get permanent resident status at the same time.

Your family members abroad will go through the process of permanent resident status at their nearest visa office.

All your family members must first pass medical and criminal screening before you can receive permanent resident status. When you receive your permanent resident status, your family members will receive immigrant visas from the visa office in their home country.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it :)

The information is kind of misleading.

1. In the PROOF OF FUNDS page (date modified 2014-04-03), it says that:
These funds could be in the form of:
- cash
- documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

2. In the check list, point 15, they describe the settlement funds as
- current bank certification letter
- evidence of savings balance
- fixed or time deposit statement
But they still provide for more info the link from above, regarding the proof of funds, where they specify property ... pffff

How I interpret, the first point relates to in what form you bring money while entering Canada (How much money should you bring?). "documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.)" probably refer to Canadian stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.

After my 2013 FSW Application was received by CiC, NOC2131 was still at 228. It took another four weeks for the 300 cap to be reached. But my application was returned due to CAP Full.
So why did it take them four weeks to open my application?
This experience tells me that the updates on the CIC page is not real-time and also not reliable as they have clearly stated.

Another point , i was in Canada in June 2013 (Last entry),

In generic form Q11, it asks for last date of entry to Canada but the field is blanked out don't know why.

In q9, I mentioned Citizenship - INDIA and Q 9, current country of stay India and Q11 blanks out.

Do you think i should write by pen on printed form ?

Another point i was in Canada for Student permit for 1 year so i mentioned that in Q12 but i was in Canada for Worker permit from 31st 07- 2013 between this i was in PGWP and Temporary resident.

But i have not mentioned it since it is asking for over 6 month of stay and my Student visa ended on 31st July 2013 so i was in Canada on TRV from 31st 07 to 17 -08

Should i write this or leave it out ?

Another thing, in travel documents, should i send out a xerox of my student and worker permit stamped on VISA, i have left them out as of yet i believe by using UCI, they should have all details.
